Please allow me to help clarify .....

Currently Digi offers New Best Prepaid V2 that comes with 500MB free basic internet quota per month.

For New Best V2, SLL options will be:
1. RM 8 for 30 days validity (minimum RM 13 credit must be available in account)
2. RM 68 for 365 days validity (minimum RM 73 credit must be available in account)

The free basic internet will be available and usable through out the entire validity period. Yes, the 500MB quota is renewed every month.

Assuming that you need a long validity prepaid with basic internet available then if I may suggest this course of action:

1. Get the DiGi New Best V2 starter pack (comes with 30days validity upon activation)
2. Use it for the next 30 days.
3. Topup RM100, get 100days validity and use for another 100 days
4. On the last few days, subscribe to SLL 365 days for RM68
5. Carry on usage for another 365 days with remaining balance for calls/sms/data
6. Repeat step 3

There is also an option to subscribe to IIC (idd internet club) by dialing *138*1# which will add another 1GB of free basic internet quota per month .... but this IIC subscription requires that future mobile internet addon must be done thru *138# which has some differences from *128# and *116#.

Most of the time, for IM/whatsapp/wechat the 500MB quota is quite sufficient.
