I am struggling making decision which prepaid sim card that i should buy for my mum ..

she just bought a new phone and need a sim card RIGHT NOW

my question is very simply only



1. Which mobile service provided provide free basic internet for long term ???

2. Which PLAN example like hotlink or celcom which offer LONGEST VALIDITY without top up ?

3 . If ever you have idea , would you mind leave a comment before with a LINK ?

previously for long term basic internet would be digi best, by subscribing to super long life then idd basic internet. a whole year of basic internet. but now new digi best doesnt even have super long life anymore lol.

for longest validity without reload would be either xox or onexox, by porting to them. can get 24month of validity iinm.

1. i get the a new sim card with called DIGI BEST at digi store

2. i reload rm 10 then subscribe to digi super long life 30 days validity

3 . lastly once i had subscribe i will get 30 days validity + free basic internet .

IS THAT WHAT YOU MEAN ?????

2 - Reload RM50
3 - Press *118*1*7#
4 - Buy the 365 Days validity (If rm50 not enuf try reload rm30 more)
5 - You'll get 500mb free basic internet for 365 days.
6 - Press *138*1#
7 - Subcribe to IDDIC
8 - You'll get extra 1gb free basic internet for free.

So everymonth your mommy enjoy 1.5gb free basic internet which can VOIP using wechat apps and light browsing using Opera Mini.

how come every month will be 1.5 GB ???

i get 365 days + 1.5 gb every month by subscribe into the service only ??

that is impossible sir .. .

i need just a sim card with longest validity + free basic internet will do ..

so digi will still the best option instead of another plan ?

so right now i get this sim card ... i reload .. and subscribe SLL by paying RM 8 for 1 months validity ..

aside from that .. will i still get the free basic internet by just paying the SLL ?

Check dial *118# choose intenet balance

If u want addin another 1gb free dial *138*1#

After that wait sms and again *138# and check total free basic internet.

Total will be 1.5gb basic internet.

Please allow me to help clarify .....

Currently Digi offers New Best Prepaid V2 that comes with 500MB free basic internet quota per month.

For New Best V2, SLL options will be:
1. RM 8 for 30 days validity (minimum RM 13 credit must be available in account)
2. RM 68 for 365 days validity (minimum RM 73 credit must be available in account)

The free basic internet will be available and usable through out the entire validity period. Yes, the 500MB quota is renewed every month.

Assuming that you need a long validity prepaid with basic internet available then if I may suggest this course of action:

1. Get the DiGi New Best V2 starter pack (comes with 30days validity upon activation)
2. Use it for the next 30 days.
3. Topup RM100, get 100days validity and use for another 100 days
4. On the last few days, subscribe to SLL 365 days for RM68
5. Carry on usage for another 365 days with remaining balance for calls/sms/data
6. Repeat step 3

There is also an option to subscribe to IIC (idd internet club) by dialing *138*1# which will add another 1GB of free basic internet quota per month .... but this IIC subscription requires that future mobile internet addon must be done thru *138# which has some differences from *128# and *116#.

Most of the time, for IM/whatsapp/wechat the 500MB quota is quite sufficient.

While im searching for this info, i stumbled upon XiddiG.
Dont know much about this, but for RM10 reload, the validity will auto extend to 365 days.
