QUOTE(deen @ Jul 23 2007, 10:41 AM) Price will drop along the way.. not only for pda phone.. Just for any who are buying new P535.. my pda also came with mobisure insurance (AIG) which covers minimum 2 months.. However, have do call them within the first 3 weeks to discontinue if do not want the insurance.. About Rm50 a month premium.. I don't think I will continue.. expensive laa. especially looking at the depreciation.. So far, I am happy with my pda mobile..j wah....got insurance...... mine dun have.....only got the extra 12 months warranty by fresh gear......so my warranty is total 2 years....

QUOTE(Strik3 @ Aug 1 2007, 12:34 PM) Yo P535 GPS users, Received me GPS antenna and reradiating unit on Monday and got it up and running yesterday. Did a test run and found that the accuracy has improved drastically. Due to it being so very accurate, i must turn before point zero at the junction if not i'll literally go 90 degrees before making the turn into the junction. I hope this is making sense..haha. Just for info, the magnet is really really strong. During the test, the antenna did not budge a lil while driving at 100km/h. Have yet to go higher speeds. Other than that, stimix has assured me that leaving the antenna outside the car will be ok since he's done that for the past 1 year. Cheers mate... nice.....so how much did you spend in total for the set?

need to ask those who has upgraded to WM6,
have anyone tried to use the voice recognition over bluetooth.....
on wm5, the voice recognition is a rather bad. most of the thie the ppc failed to recognise correctly......
just wondering if the bluetooth driver/software for WM6 has been improved for P535.......

QUOTE(stimix @ Sep 10 2007, 11:35 AM) The voice recognision is still as bad after upgrade..I think they can't detect the frequency of Asian voices ..more towards Mat Salleh slang... QUOTE(Strik3 @ Sep 10 2007, 02:54 PM) I didn't know Asian voice has such complex frequency, I'm "proud".. lol... If like that, try voice dialling by imitating a mat salleh slang lor =P hmm.......but when using the builin mic, no problem. the voice recognition works perfectly. I get it right everytime. also same results using the wired mic and earphones that was bundled together with p535. but when I connect using bluetooth, the software bare recognise what the heck I was saying.....

QUOTE(stanley83 @ Sep 12 2007, 09:51 AM) i got GPRS, but mms canot send out, even i call maxis they also dunno what phone is asus p535 when you first time turn on your device, there will be a choice to choose which telco company you use and by making the right choices, everything is automatically set up..... you either did not do the right choices or when you bought this phone is was already chosen by the SA, your only choice now is probably hard reset and choose it again........

for those having those hang problem........i suspect that you are having the classic case of running out of ram if you are new to WM
so, before you actually uninstall your programs.......try this remedy first to see if it works.....
1. try to clear your ram every now and then ....... if you go to your start>settings>system>memory>running programs -------- see if you have lots of the programs running in background, if yes then stop all those programs.......the program does not close like desktop program when you click the "X", it just minimizes them......thus causing you to hav low ram and most often than not, the main culprit for hanging systems.....
2. if the method above still does not reduces your hand experience, then its probably the 3rd party software that you need to uninstall.....
3. you might want to install a program that will close the program instead of minimizing it when you press "X"
p/s - i have been monitoring my ram and will close those program that I don't need and I have never face a hang before ever since I bought this unit 10 months ago........
just something that I would like to share with new users........
