Walk in like a boss. tell him what model, present cash, drive away. unless you planning to take loan, that's pretty much it.

just choose what bike you want and tell the shop owner

they will help you with loan, registration, insurance etc

if you pay with cash, then u can skip the loan part

registration is usually free or very minimal, unless you want specific number

always ask the price for the bike. is it:

a. body price

or

b. on the road price

body price means the price of the bike alone, not including registration and insurance

on the road price means everything included

paying by cash usually u can get lower / cheaper price.

pay by loan depends on your choice and how much u wanna pay a month

not that easy. even if you pay cash, registration takes at least 1 day. insurance too.

So basically, the first day i have to register first and pay the registration fees, then the next day after the registration done, i just pay full amount and everything settled?

yes, correct. if u have specific model/color in mind, ask if the shop got ready stock. else maybe need to wait for stock to arrive for few weeks.

i buy bike cash,
1) go shop
2) check stock - got
3) pay deposit, sign some stuff
4) go back home - wait jpj registration finish (i buy when hari raya)
5) after 2 days finish. pay remaining balance. take geran, free gift, etc
6) ride bike back home

Here's my experience.

I went to the seller and gave him a bank draft to buy the bike cash. I immediately rode it to JPJ, bought a cheap insurance and got the transfer done.

It took just 2 hours... and it was a 600cc bike.

Not really. I bought it directly off the owner who advertised on Mudah.com. A bank draft is as good as a bagful of cash, coz it has already been paid for. Then I rode it straight to JPJ in Maju Junction (now tutup edy).

Am I back... ummm, technically I never left -- I still have my old GSXR400-RR in good condition, don't know what to do with it.
