3-5 cap ayam died on me, don't remember the details, but one of them took a CDRW drive and a DVDROM with it. *****!!

Bought a CM Extreme 430W for my new rig, nothing fancy though

surprisingy my i-cute psu performs well.. but 5 power'logic??' psu has died and two of them (450watt 'truepower' 900peak) burnt only hours after bought it!!! after twice change it in a day i decided to change it with CM 430watt the next day

I also bought this PSU just now. My 2nd PSU.

I power up the computer for about 30min, suddenly CPU no power, processor fan and case exaust fan not running. But the RAM L.E.D lighten up. So i tought this is big case, because b4 this happen, i change the proc heatsink to a better clipping mechanism. Tot i overheat the proc.. Then try to reset, reset and re-power, off and on the main switch still nothing. So i got bought a new PSU. Because if it really not the PSU fault i can use it on new System, becoz the CPU i am using is old and outdated. So why not try, lucky it power up.

That's strange. I hope i made a good choice. I bought same as your's too. for RM 148. The store klang. BESS computer.

serve me well on my third rig from 2004...

Weh i was just to ask the same thing...FSP..i own one..and working really great!!!But have FSP 200W..can't supply enough power for my previous 6600GT..ya...wondering..izzit a good PSU????

I am using MEC 250 actual watts and max watts 450 ...
Use for 2 years already, I think is enough burn in period ...
Then I oced the old system AMD 3000+ from 1.8Ghz to 2.39Ghz (The highest ATM,2.4Ghz reboot my system when I run PS2 emulator)
I am damn scared the PSU burst anytime but still want OC it to play PS2 emulator with Super Robot Wars Original Generation ... Hehe, dun want buy PS2, thinking save the money for update PC ...
How to verify whether my PSU did stable or not ? This few days my monitor was blinking frequently, I am not sure is the PSU not enought power or monitor life going to end soon. then I plug the monitor power adapter to power socket instead link the power from PSU, but still the monitor blinking ... er , any comments ?

*add-on, after OC, I have never shut down it almost 3 months, is 24/7.

hmm....not much ppl using chieftec psu here me myself using it for quite sometime , say 4+ years 24/7 usage no problem at all with pure 310w, i still can add another 1 hdd drive for upcomin pc fair(currently only 1 slot available...)
