yes, you cut fit speakers to fit at the back door, as there is already bracket for speakers...

but aint a waste to used DLS R6A at the back door...

The stock speaker for Myvi is some brand like "Betamax". I changed the speakers on the Myvi twice so far. First changed with stock CRV Kenwood speakers which fit just fine but then re-changed with 4 way pioneer's.

There are like 3 screws for the stock Myvi rears and dont fit fine for all type of speakers. The rear doors unfortunately needs alot of sound proofing "dynamat maybe".

I agree using DLS R6A at the back is not really the best. They should be at the front. To drive DLS an amp is prefered.

myvi front, stock position only can take 4" speaker
you can fit a 6" but you need to do customization work

your 2 ch amp should be used to drive you front speaker which ever you prefer to put there

i assume both are component speakers? forgive my noobness as never use dls b4

if you think you want good sound, then customize is way to go... before you do anything go and listen to some MyVi that have customize then you know how good it sound like although only with front speakers...

think if you can afford DSL R6A (if its original) then your budget / sound setup should be better then you mention put it at the back...

what mode of MB Quart youre using, better then the DSL ???

If you get a 4 channel amp then all also can. I changed the front stock speakers Myvi with 4" 2 way pioneers.

hmm ... i went and survey, total up cost me RM 600 ... two front door with sound proof, installation of R6A in front, amp ...

Found out :-

a) sound proof : RM 200 per door x 2 = RM 400
b) speaker installation : RM 120
c) Papan for front : RM 80

Is it worth ?

Found this at Hi-Power at Batu Berendam
