i dun think that is illegal...the traffic light actually got the light indicating you can proceed

and i have tried turning there before with the traffic police right in front of me

you may check it out for yourself biggrin.gif

They close 1 eye. It is illegal becos sometime those waiting there actuslly blocking the traffic if heavy.

@aeiou, for me if from KJ and I feel LDP is horribly jammed, I will detour at the ss3 junction heading towards sg way fcz & bck to Fed h/way > subang jaya & turn in to npe. Yes far but less jam

Yesterday I drove back from PJ, reach home around 6:30.  Traffic quite OK also.

Go back at about 6pm. Usual heavy.

But morning is surprising smooth.

Probably due to DBKL hike the parking fee 150% ??

Ya, a lot of cars did that like it's a norm. But the road sign indicated that only left and right turn allowed. Also must take chances because if the illegal Q heading straight already fully occupied with waiting vehicles and your traffic light turns green, you must proceed to turn right to Shah Alam otherwise you will hold back the cars behind you.

Ok Taikor. Thanks for the suggestion. So no alternative route to S. Pyramid except Taylor's University U turn and the illegal waiting Q at lower deck Canon/Olympus flyover ?

Just found an alternative route from KJ LDP to S.Pyramid.
Exit right to SS8/2 at Western Digital factory > Join Federal Hightway KL bound > go up the Canon/Olympus second deck flyover > voila....!!

Still hv to pass thru the jam at bhp stn lor. U can see the bhp stn. I hate this ramp actually. I still prefer the longer way via taylors lakeside or big route via subang jaya.

Oh, we are talk about the same route la, but if travel via SJ then turn into NPE, it will be on the opposite site of the road of S.Pyramid liao. The jam at the U turn back to S.Pyramid at the traffic light cross junction lagi scary o.

People are describing this morning as 'living hell' on the LRT.
