My exp wth umobile is the fastest...coverage is very very very poor. sad.gif. Even when youtube is lagging sad.gif

I subscribe to webe last friday and get my sim at their branch in JBCC. Port in from hotlink succesful on saturday. The problem I experinced with webe was, TAC request sms didn't arrive. I even update my phone num through atm machine, yet the same happen. So, yesterday at 2pm I request port in to Umobil. Back to prepaid.

In the evening I ask webe cust service about my request to port out and usually how long it takes for me to recieve confirmation sms from webe. He said 5 working day. Out of a sudden this morning at 8, I recieved sms from Umobil that my porting request was succesful and can replace my sim. How was that? I never recieved or replied any sms from webe.

Few minutes later I recieved email from webe. They say I will recieved my final bill on next cycle and should I have any claim on upfront payment, I may request for it and will be paid in 60 days. As in webe selfcare app, my account status was terminated and my unbilled amount are rm14.73

Hope this reference help. Lucky to get away with this 'game changer' telco. Lol.

Yes it happen.
For newly unexperienced and small size telco, when to port-out from their network you will never received any SMS consent from their side.
My recent experience port-out from FriendiMobile to Digi Postpaid. Just take few hours. Request submitted at 11.00 a.m and my Digi SIM card had been activated at 9.30 p.m on same day. Wah! so fast that I ever experienced.
I just received a SMS from Digi that my previous network will be changed to Digi. Only that's all.

Mine smooth porting out. But phone is not certifield but they said lumia 1520 spec meet requirement. Which they will update in the database. In meant time, use certifield phone sad.gif

Do they offer discounted certified devices at the JBCC branch for new subscribers? I intend to port over my Umobile number but retain my Digi number for TAC/OTP/SMS.

im using webe staff pakej until nov..so far line was good..
act when the 4G line drop to 3G,3G line will be going to Celcom line..

If its able to port out. Then the next steps for consumers like us to really beware of the final payment as we know P1 very "good brother" with CTOZ one....

fast fast opt out before too late ur banking all stuck up. After reading 80% of the forum post here,

my summary so far:
(a) High speed on first 20gb, after that is.......ayam speed I guess
(b) No tethering (not work with usb neither vpn neither mifi as not certified device), or pay for every 2H tethering.
© Not certified device user will be surprise by later bill at 13x.
(d) 4G on selected area, even KL sentral is not covered.
(f) No P2p as it will be 64kbps
(g) No google drive / Big file download (>1Gb) as they might blocked u and ask for $$$ to unblock ur account.
(h) Know issue of SMS TAC will never sampai on ur phone. This totally scare off all internet banking user. shakehead.gif
(i) Read their T&C can change ANYTIME and EFFECTIVE on the spot. Mean you langsung no chance go MCMx?
(j) ex p? company team behind this, may switch you from tower A to Tower (B) anytime...... rclxub.gif

Actually speed is okay for me...fastest can get just around 18mbps


But..most anoyying is sms..tac/msos/security code

Received the webe sim today. 4G speed is not that fast. 3G even worst. Maybe depend on location.

No tethering allowed

Even Samsung Note 7 launched last month, still not in certified phone list, how come a telco call itself digital telco can slow respond to IT world?? Staff problem???

My area I think is not fully cover 4G, up stair got 4G, down stair only H+ full bar
