Is usb tethering disabled too? If it is, this plan is not for me.

I already got their CS called for confirmation and order the sim card, but not yet pay registration.

Why didn't u find out from the CS? Maybe can use on tablet/netbook/laptop that come with sim-slot?

No use. For now tablet/laptop/netbook isn't in webe compatible device list. Which means, while it still can be use as normal, the price you would have to pay for the plan is not RM79. There is no RM60 discount for non-compatible devices. Furthermore, if you are not current active TM/P1 user, you will not receive any further RM60 discount. Which means you have to pay full price of around RM199 for the plan. I planned to contact the CS tomorrow about USB tethering, but i think that that feature will be disabled too.

I am a existing TM user with an invitation for webe, can't we register the account with a compatible device, but then use it on a tablet/laptop/netbook with a sim-slot?

Why rm106, and not rm79+gst=rm83.74? Do u need to have a webe supported device before purchasing the package at rm79?

Anyone has the link to the latest webe certified devices? Can't find it in their facebook or website www.webe.com.my.

RM106 is upfront payment
Detect non-supported device most probably will add another RM60 on your next bill

If I MNP from Maxis to Webe, would that affect my internet banking cos some banks only support Maxis/Celcom/Digi/Umobile.

Comment from one webe user:
saya dah guna webe. sim ada 3 size. line ok walaupun kadang2 lost connection berlaku waktu transition (4g-3g-H+). line 4g dapat kat kl, ipoh, penang walaupun depa claim ada kat kl n jb je line 4g. bole la dlm 5mbps walaupun stream video kat tumblr cam lag. yang syok ley on9, call n sms tanpa takut data abes.
yang tak syoknye, sejak guna webe, dah tak terima OTP, TAC daripada bank dan apps. so susah gila kehidupan. nak trnasfer2 kene minta tolong kawan atau gi atm. sadis. dah report dan tech dah call tapi still pending lagi. depa pun xtawu apa masalah. ada tak yang sama masalah ngan saya???
rasa cam nak balik ke umobile. duh

By using Webe with Android smartphone without tethering (rm79 package), HOW can I still download movies and save them on sdcard? I am currently using laptop+unifi to do this from dramacool using firefox+video-downloadhelper .

For phone, you wanna share, but can't tether, just insert simcard into usb dongle and surf on laptop lor.

Webe might be able to detect that and u wont enjoy the discount of rm60.

At rm79, webe is still better than n as cheap as Maxis/Celcom/Digi/Umobile, cos apart fr unlimited calls n sms, its unlimited internet will be the winning factor. Coverage should be good as it will fall back on Celcom for 3G.
Only thing holding me back is that it might not support OTP/TAC for ebanking/ecommerce.
Hope that Webe will support more devices like tablet/netbook/laptop in the future.

Setting, More Networks, Mobile Networks, Network Operator, Search Network. And if you see 502 153 means you are covered by webe LTE.
*
TQ, saw 502 153 4G.
4G=LTE right ? And what is the max speed it can reach?

Webe support more device? Are you telling a joke? It's the other way round bro, devices need to support band 5 and band 40(when webe eventually launch it later) to access their network. They can't just magically force a phone without band 5/40 support to connect to their network.
*
QUOTE(mztang52 @ Aug 31 2016, 07:08 AM)
Not sure but previously, TM said TM Go's can reach speed uo to 20Mbps. And now, TM just make their TM Go LTE towers to Webe LTE towers. So I guess it is 20Mbps.
*
RN3 is not in the list of Webe's supported device but has the following spec, so it can make full use of Webe's LTE (band 5) n also future proof(band 40) in terms of speed?
But Webe is not listing all devices which support band 5 & 40 in it's list of certified devices right, RN3 being one of them. vmad.gif

zher4883 read that u are a satisfied YES user, but is the YES's coverage area (esp on the road n highway) as good as webe which has celcom 3G as backup?
