Ys, as classic as it is, is not a Dragon quest or final fantasy. Its popularity mostly is limited to a particular fan base, old timer jrpg gamers, and never really reaching the hype of big big franchise.
Ys has come a long way, from "crashing" battle to swordplay to multi characters. From pc to console. |

I remember playing this game in the ps3 era, didn't appeal much to me back then. Not sure if I want to reinvest my time in this RPG.

Somehow I'm not hyped for KH3. It has been a practice for me not to pay for a full priced game, especially at day of release with tons of dlc and potential GOTY. I have been waiting for an official numbered KH eversince it's inception, and I enjoyed all the KH, even attended the KH concert 2 years ago in KL. Now that it is around the corner, the inclination to own it is just not there. Finance is definitely a factor, alas.
