Hi dear all TIME expert users, just wanna confirm may I know is the 2018 year new subscription of 100Mbps RM149 nowadays will be given TPLink Archer C1200? I terminated the useless TM Unifi Lite who using the rubbish cylinder DLINK DIR850L which cannot penetrate through the master bed room wall in my condo. So I just wanna confirm because the TIME technician will be coming this Saturday to install TIME for my unit. Thanks anyone who reply this. Appreciated your info help.

Do you guys have bad experience using TIME Archer C1200 which block your signal while online in your masterbed room? Many Thanks.

Yes, TP-Link Archer C1200 will be given.

Still this unit is not really a lot much better than the Dlink DIR850L, quite a number of bugs & issues have been discovered.

Thanks.

i tot this is better than dlink dir850L thats whybi chosen it. because physically got three antenna macam confident. U guys means what bugs and issues ya? itu lousy dlink dir850l where can support 100Mbps meh?

if 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz my media box inside master bedroom can only detect 2.4ghz but not 5ghz. Sometimes signal is slow also if another medium room using. Sucks....do u guys face this problem too?

Thanks

i got one Dlink cctv bought N years ago... only Resolution 480p highest. Good thing is it integrated with DLink router and use sometimes 2.4GHz also can disconnec (both device in the same living room also cctv can get disconnected.) so sucks dlink hv to cinfigure cctv again and again until i give up. Dont plan to change the dlink cctv. However, will it be integrated with TPLink archer c1200 router so that i can use mobile remotely access to check who is online at home? Connected to how many wireless handphone devices?

You do realise that you can change the router yourself to something better? Time is definitely better than Unifi BUT don’t expect the C1200 to be significantly better than the DIR850L. Invest in a top end router and you will be better off,

Dear TIMERS, may I know what is TIME HOME FORWARD about ya? Calling to your home fixed line will redirect to mobile or you can use the app treat it like own home phone calling out or how? Something like Call Forwarding? Confusing...

hi, ive been facing wifi dropping and cant connect to wifi (both 2.4g and 5g) on time broadband provided tp link ac1200 router... anyone face similar issue? time service centre told me its tplink's firmware issue...

need to restart multiple times a day oh gawd.

I placed it in living room. No problem receiving it in my Masterbedroom. Luckily i have terminated Unifi Lite that stupid DLink DIR850L with no attenna that will dc compared to Archer C1200. I using it as another router to split out my 100M so that other ppl in the house use it at 50% of the speed. Then only I myself can access the TIME100Mbps personally and fully speed.
Maybe archer router i got last week is d latest firmware already... how to check latest?

CS said call to 1800 is free... while 1300 is charged. Mobile and fixed line same as using the house phone $0.10 per minute. As long as got internet or wifi connected to your phone. Regardless where which country u are in...

buy new property, please check if TIME is going to available there or not first.

This is how good TIME compared to UniFi / Maxis.

My advice -> got TIME then TIME. no TIME die die wait for TIME  laugh.gif

Hi there, I’m now at my family’s house, they use TIME also but why speedtest only receive 48Mbps? Im using iPhone 7Plus for doing it.

Is there anyone who experienced the same issuev is it because of peak hour? But why 52% off from 100Mbps? LOL

Thanks in advance

NB : I’ve already subscribed from one of trusted partner here

I had a internet down issue during Chinese New Year on 20 Feb all down until i come home restarted modem and is resolved. Don't know why the planet icon on the TPLink router is red when I come home saw it. Call CS to ask for rebate as my cctv cant remote access in due to TPLink down. Forgotten to check he Huawei modem status. However, CS told me they can't create report and rebate to me. Reason being is because the issue is not happening on that particular time and customer requires to call CS IMMEDIATELY where issue happened. Not after few days or weeks time... WTF... If TM will straightway create a technical report and u may connect to billing department to request for rebate. But this TIME technical CS is so sucks that telling me this is their rules.

Hi Guys,

Those that are stil facing intermittent disconnection on the TpLink Archer C1200, that temp resolved by rebooting the router.
Please off the router for 5mins rather than turn it off and immediately turn it on.

Thanks.

TIME said u must call them to ask for rebate when u first saw ur modem ia abnormal. Only then they can come out with technical report. Not after u restarted modem and everything back to normal. Unlike TM can out report anytime. So dear all pls call TIME request refund. Pls remember ya.

I was approach by a Time agent today, he offered to rebate 500 to me when I terminate my contract with Maxis Fibre. My question, is this a real promotion? Worry kena tipu..
*
This is called EasySwitch programme. U hv to make sure u don't hv contract with Maxis else u gonna take that 500 offset d money of penalty paid to ur Maxis.

I switched from TM. This is my second month of using TIME and fyi I still haven't needed to pay bill yet as online portal shown as zero.

Guys, i need help here. Been using TIME 100mbps with the given ZTE router for the past couple of years. When nearby router, speedtest on wireless can get around 40-50mbps. The moment go into room with door closed, both signal & speed dropped till 2 bars and 10mbps. I connected LAN cable to my laptop and able to get 97mbps. But when using wifi, doesn't matter what wifi card or what device I'm using, speed is just half of my subscribed plan. I'm using Channel 11 btw. Anyone know is there a router that can give us a better speed over 60mbps and a better penetration thru wall? Thank you.

u gonna connect 5GHz else half if connect 2.4GHz due to distance in house.

Happy Merdeka to All!

The package prices that i was informed of by a Time agent is as below:
100, 300, 500mbps priced respectively at rm129, 169, 249 for 2 years contract. Zero installation fee.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. Not sure if the packages will get better soon.

I could barely get 156Mbps upload and 101Mbps upload only. Why? Previously was 100M with Archer modem 1200
