I though iptv stick with old paxage which is around 10mbps?
*
My story is like this, i was using IPTV 6mb when it was first launched, then one day I received a call from astro, say upgrade to 10MB for free because I am loyal customer but tied up 2years contract. After I signed up, 2-3 months later I can see it online, the same package offer to new subscriber for the same price. And then after another few months, Time release 100mb at my condo. Its obvious they knew its coming, so quickly tied up current customer with 2 years plan. So I felt cheated, maybe not so much from Astro but the telesales giving all sales talk. So with few months to go, I rather pay double line for Time and cancel the day my astro contract over.

Just worried, after sign up, another deal from astro or time on this 100mb line. So wondering anyone have insider news.

TLDR, 2 years IPTV sux

astro iptv is the worst to cancel, have to pay number of months left multiply with monthly bills and return all devices modem/router

RM 253 (sports package with iptv 10mb) x 10 months = RM 2530 .....

but its true, night speed seems slower, i can get 200mbps during lunch, but dinner I can only get 130mbps

really peak is after office hours

side note: do keep note on the cable length indicator from your home entrance till the router, as my contractor keep on insist from my door to router is 20m, where i give him max is only 20feet
in the end, i pay him rm50 or i worry he will just cut/damage my cable sad.gif

Hi Bro,

Please try to test using different speedtest servers and take an average result.

If the problem still persists, you need to make a report to Customer Service.

Another way you could check is to bypass the Router and hook it up directly to the ONU (aka Fibre Modem) to perform a test again.
If you need further help, feel free to buzz me.

Thanks.

been using time 300mbps almost a year, although i can get close to 300mbps on speedtest, i wont able to get near that in youtube/torrent/online streaming or even downloading most http files

torrent, most of the time max only can get 3mbps, when i first got it, it was nicely uncapped, now it seems cap at telco site

no doubt still a better choice than unifi/astro iptv, but i wish its not capped so much
