Any idea what's the penalty like if I were to shift to a new location that is not covered by TIME during the contract period?

Just got mine installed today, and I've tried the speed and the best I could get is only 20mpbs. Anyone facing such issues?

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Apr 14 2017, 08:42 PM) Hi bro, speed is stable. I just got my time installed today. Thus far, I'm only getting 20-30mpbs as per speed test even with my lan cable. Now they have to send someone to come and text instead. Lol. Somehow I regret for switching over as I could have gotten the same speed at rm99.Wi-Fi speed depends on devices hardware. If device support AC then can achieve 100Mbps Customer Service is good. They provide help on hotline. For the stock router, if not more 6 devices connected then should there be no problem If you do heavy downloads, streaming and gaming then need to change router The stock router from TIME is capable of getting 100Mbps over WI-FI You may contact me if you need further assistance. Thanks |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Apr 15 2017, 11:31 AM) Hi Bro, Today it seems to be back to normal. Is there any routers that u would recommend as the 5ghz is not strong enough to emit into my room. Please provide the following info : 1) Package signed up & Router model (TIME router?) 2) Tested with another Cat5e/Cat6 cable ? 3) Tested by bypassing the Router ? 4) Which Speedtest Server? 5) Already reset both the account & Router ? 6) Fiber reading before entering ONU & that is sensed by ONU. Thanks. |

I realise that the dlink modem is really weak and cause unstable pings when on wifi.
I'm planning to go for a wifi repeater, any suggestions? Budget would around 100-300. |

Need some help, I think the dlink router is facing difficulties in handling loads. I realise the moment 6 devices connects under the same router, the whole thing will start to slow down.
Should I change it to tp link router instead? |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Jun 4 2017, 09:13 AM) Hi, If compare with tenda, which is better? How about asus ac1200?It's good for range & penetration but not very highspeed...due to the limitation of 802.11n 300Mbps & 100Mbps FE WAN port ... if you are expecting a wifi speed between 3x--5xMbps, this should do well. Thanks. |

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Jun 4 2017, 09:48 AM) ASUS is definitely better than Tenda. I'm currently on d-link850. Thinking on which router to get, cause the sales person told me that the ac1200 is so-so only for the wifi signal.Asus offer high range routers Suggest you to go for AC1750 or AC1900. What's your current stock router? If your stock router is AC1200 then don't choose AC1200. This bandwidth just so so only. D-Link 850l The stock router is not capable to get the speed as advertised. Signal too.weak. Thanks |

QUOTE(FusionXY @ Jun 4 2017, 11:59 AM) Hi, try to upgrade to AC1750 and above. Hi man, Asus AC1750 is too expensive for me, what about TP-LINK AC1750 ? Since there's a promo on lazada, i might grab it right now.AC1200 is the same thing applies to another router besides your router Hi, test via LAN cable or WiFi? If LAN, try to reset your router. If WiFi, only 5GHz is capable supporting up to 100Mbps. For 2.4GHz, it is not possible, if your devices support 2 X 2 Antenna, then is capable supporting up to that speed. |

After shifting my router to Archer TP Link, my speed is superb. However, i still experience packet lost of up to 1%. Is this common?

QUOTE(blaze91 @ Jun 26 2017, 09:48 PM) Is this http://www.tp-link.com/us/download/Archer-C7.html? I am looking to replace my wifi router as well. Yes, u can get from lazada at around RM390. Go get it, way better than the rubbish stock router tho. However, my ping loss is inevitable. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(yeapch01 @ Aug 12 2018, 01:10 PM) Dear Bro Tenda ac6 use as wifi repeater ?For a budget of below RM 350 , we strongly recommend TP-LINK powelrine - AV1300 Gigabit Powerline ac Wi-Fi Kit, TL-WPA8630 KIT, it provide stability and high speed bandwidth Alternatively if you need better wifi coverage , maybe you can consider use Tenda Ac 6 router for extend coverage . it is also around RM 150. If you need further assistance , feel free to let us know. Thanks. |
