aiks any sifu can englighten me? im subscribed to 300mb, however speedtest shows im getting around 100mb only.. i contacted TIME CS, and was told to bypass the router, and try a direct connection to the fiber modem and speed test again...

however, i understand that the dialing is dial at the router, not at the modem... and i'm unable to login to the huawei modem's GUI using the default username and password (telecoadmin/admintelecom)

can anyone guide me if it's possible to dial directly via laptop using the fiber modem?

ah thanks bros... i dialed via pppoe via laptop, and its successful.. indeed direct laptop i get around 250mb.. so its my router giving the bottleneck... im using ASUS RT-AC1200G router.. don't think the router is that weak, cant support such high throughput? or are there any specific configuration i need to change?

is there anything wrong with TIME service? I stay in Old Klang Road area, getting 5mb download, 189mb upload.. restarted modem and router same thing.. I believe it's TIME's backbone issue?

may I know what is the penalty to downgrade plan? Was on 300mbps (upgraded to 1gbps now)... would like to downgrade to 500mbps plan to save RM50 per month, however my contract is only on the 10th month now...
