Hi all sifu, what is the main requirement if wanna buy n change TIME router? sorry not familiar with router.
For example:

- max speed. at least 100mbps to.........
- router cobfiguration that require by TIME???
- router type a, b, c, d, e.......? TIME is what type?
- 2.4g or 5g or greater is better?
- others?????

This is bcoz i found that China brand router more powerful n more cheaper. For example:

1. Xiaomi router 3.
2. B-link BL- AC886M.
3.Huawei WS550.

Please help to choose the best n reasonable price router.

thanks...........

I have used a few China routers. On the spec sheet itself, it looks good. However, the actual performance and stability is still behind those established router makers.

They are really cheap anyway. laugh.gif

yes they are really cheap. that why i wanna try out the b-link or the mi router 3 is less than rm100 post from china.
even Time using ZTE router. kikikiki

This one:

Around RM360 after apply voucher FABFEB50 (Lazada App). Better be quick if you want, voucher is limited.

Have a few friends using Tenda but heard no complaints from them so far.

Asus RT-AC68U user here. Powerful, stable, strong wifi but expensive (in my opinion).
*
sure lo.
1 asus rt-ac68u = 2 tenda ac1900

You need to set PPPoE for connection.

Wireless Repeater won't help without PPPoE connection.
*
can share how to setup PPPoe in order i can use direct from ONU to my tplink home plug extender / wifi repeater? coz is direct out from ONU will this setup will increase the speed? (coz not thru router)

This not help for speed?

Which router model that you are using?

Since this is just a powerline.
It won't work with that.

This is used for better internet from LAN cable.
For example. If you want to use LAN cable instead of WiFi in the room.
This is the method to use.

One end connect to router in the hall
One end connect to PC in the room.

This is not an AC Router.
So the speed won't increase.
*
yes i understand the function of extender / wifi repeater. Im using the old ZTE white colour router provided by TIME.
i wanna do bypassing router so that can increase my internet speed or not. So i can know that my router is the main down side for my internet speed
