I just got my TP-LINK Archer C1200 from TIME.

How do you change the DNS from the default value in the router itself?

Looking into their menu, it seems like TIME have hardcoded the DNS setting...

Thanks for the tip. I want to set to Cloundflare DNS so I need to override the default DNS setting.

But seeing that TIME is setting Google DNS as a secondary DNS by default is a thumbs up move (unlike TM own router many years back).

I am happy that TIME still appreciate old loyal customer by upgrading our router for free (my previous router by TIME was that horrible CISCO router that I quickly changed to TP-LINK TL-WDR4300)

I do redeemed the free router as I was using 4 year old model TP-LINK router (N750). But TIME gave me the lousy Cisco router when I signed up with them which I quickly put it in my storage room. Maybe their system shows that I was using that lousy router all these years haha.

The new router boot up time is super slow (takes about 3-5 minutes to initialize?) compared to my N750 router. But so far I do not see any disconnection and I do appreciate the higher WIFI bandwith.

Not sure the old or new logo. I just got this C1200 2 weeks ago. Once it fully initialized, i dont experience disconnection through LAN as I typically use my desktop for my internet usage.
I leave mostly everything at auto. I just change the WIFI ID and the DNS.

I did. Sungai Ara area. I have another friend also seen the speed upgrade at Relau area as well.

I think some Penang forumers reported that they seen upgrade on the speed as well.

They don't even bother to take my Cisco router (given at 2014). My Cisco router is still in perfect condition (used only 2 months before go back in the box and store in the storage ever since).
