QUOTE(jjj2 @ Jul 14 2016, 09:39 PM) Hi Bro, how to check fiber RX reading ya?As usual narrow down to the root cause by eliminating the wireless factor, test with cable to Router --> <still same?> if so, bypassing the router by performing direct ONU test --> <still same?> check fibre RX reading. If you are alrdy very sure it only happens between 8-9pm everyday... and after this hour, it will be back to normal...test using cable to your router... * Pls perform speedtest via several servers and take a mean. Buzz me via whatsapp or sms or email or phone... wil guide you in more details. |

I experienced slow speed yesterday night as well...in fact lately the line not as stable as before during night time...no idea what's the rootcauseit all begin at around 8:00pm yesterday when i only managed to clocked a download speed of below 1Mbps, persistent until today morning. called TIME and they told me there is a disruption in Cyberjaya but by right it won't affect my area =/ i was still streaming every thing at good speed before 8:00pm. |

Just came to realised that somewhere 8pm-11pm my internet speed could drop from 1x mbps to 0.5-2mbps even in front of router. (Wifi)
Connection speed can reach up to 90mbps via cable. This drastic drop of download and upload still only persist for 1-2 hours and shall back to normal by 1x mbps. Wonder if it is my router issue? P/S - This is not the 1st router i experienced this. (Checked number of devices connected to the network, no unknown devices spotted.) |

QUOTE(jjj2 @ May 7 2018, 04:30 PM) Hi Bro, How come your speed is 1x Mbps ? Similiar cases have been reported but I will need more findings to assist you. How come your speed is 1x Mbps ? Try download inSSIDer to scan for other hidden/rogue network devices available for that period. Which router you are using ? Thanks. Cheapo router or probably because my old laptop's network card got good enough?? Router in use Asus RT-N14UHP Will download inSSIDer later =) This post has been edited by Ricky300: May 8 2018, 10:16 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |
