I need that as my home minister makes long distance calls almost every day!

Though not 100% happy with the price, think I will just jump in and get this RM199 package next week. Have been waiting for about a year now to move to Unifi.

The credit limit is usually set at around 4x your monthly subscription.

What this means, in theory, is that TM will allow you to be in arrears - i.e. 'hutang' - for 4 months. After which, they can suspend your Unifi service and take legal action to reclaim what you owe to them.

However, in practice, I've heard of people owing over 8 months worth of subscription, and nothing happening. Of course, if you get that far behind in paying, just don't expect things like free upgrade from VIP5 to VIP10, and then claim it's unfair when you are excluded. 

I asked 100 about this and they said that it's your monthly credit limit. That means in 1 month, your monthly bill + calls + VOD you buy on HyppTV cannot exceed the RM5xx limit.

It's not a credit limit for your monthly bills. Doesn't mean that you can owe TM 3 months (RM473.82).

I tried it before, missed one month bill and got my Unifi disconnected straight away.

And of course, this contradicts what tritonite said. Give it a try and let us know. TM can be quite inconsistent sometimes.

They will call you up if you miss even one payment. Credit limit is for you to spend, not for you to owe. Just like credit cards.

Actually, they do call and offer you to pay via CC over the phone. You'll also get SMS, emails and automated calls with a reminder message.

I received before because I forgot to pay twice. They will call to chase. These days I pay on time. I never receive bills because mine is online statement, no red bill yet.

P/s: Know the difference between "own" and "owe". Own = Kepunyaan. Owe = hutang
