Changing DNS doesn't solve the routing issue aka. the reason why you're getting 200+ ping when playing at singapore or local server.

Exactly... this is a huge issue because less technical savvy users easily fooled into thinking the problem is solved, aka TM provides 'good' service.

Had to change back to default DNS to access most websites.

Have to reset IP until X times then finally get 175.136.x.x which apparently have 20ms ping with Dota2/Steam servers.

So yay.

they never do. Now I regret paying 200+ per month, but I dont have much choice since UNIFI is the only best cable line right now (no TIME coverage) dry.gif

They said yes, but the issue here now is the 'routing' problem (the reason why you're getting 200+ ping on valve server in singapore). Pretty sure it's on UNIFI side, as we can get around 15 - 20ms if we connect through VPN.

well it is not according to @TMconnects

they keep posting this link when ppl tweets about connection issues.

https://www.tm.com.my/OnlineHelp/Announceme...ABLE-FAULT.aspx

Ironically, when i call TM customer service, they also said submarine cable is fixed.

It couldn't be true for both so... there must be someone at TM is lying right?

Do they even know what the **** is routing? My god.

If I can use VPN to get ping around 10ms but without VPN is 200ms, what does that have to say about their server? What a bunch of jokers. It started on wednesday after 6PM because I was playing dota at that time

apperently, Unifi only have the packet loss problem, Streamyx users are okay from several users of streamyx from the CSGO community group.

they check using command prompt. and the users of streamyx all have low ping and 0% packet loss while the unifi users have more than 200+ ping and packet losses..
interesting..
