well i suspect when uncompressed it will hit 100-120gb with a option in da dlc to download high texture pack.

However I was reading somewhere the game will require additional download of 4k Texture for the total installation size of 150+ , which is not yet released


The High res texture pack is around 64 gb according to the coughpiratescough

Did the transaction went through ? Make sure it did . You should receive an automated email response after that

If you did not receive anything , maybe the transaction did not happen at all . Also by default all cards do not allow oversea transaction , make sure you call your bank to enable it

yup, did not receive any email from gmg and i don't think the transaction went through. also didn't know that by default all cards do not allow oversea transaction. its weird because i have bought games from steam before using the same cimb card without any problems.

anyways i will try and give cimb a call. thanks for all the help.

This came as a big surprise, i wasnt aware till i saw the last few post and did some homework. It does seems that the "crack" only works up to chapter 3, but no 100% confirmation on the news, but what is confirmed is, its working. If its working well enough, this is the dumbest mistake ever in anti-piracy of recent times.

While we paid for the game and our pre-load is sitting there waiting for another few days, the pirates already have their game up and running. More salt on the wound, no fancy cracking technique, just a copy paste of FFXV's own demo exe. Can't believe this is happening. There goes my excitement.

Exactly, that was what i meant. Its not even any complicated cracking technique. Just an exe copy paste, and the irony, both exe are from SE themself, not by crackers. Technically speaking, it wasnt even cracked, its just a stupid careless mistake being exploited.

Well its another trainwreck for Square Enix

At first they were expecting 10 millions copies of sales in order to make profit, but it was a massive disappointment because the Japanese aren't buying the game.

I think it has sold a total of 6-7 millions of console copies right now and they are expecting 2 more millions from the sales of PC release. Pirates unlocking the game earlier than actual game owners the will no doubt have a very severe effect on the sales as well as the brand's reputation .


For the entire day , the forum on steam is going out of control filling with hatred and angry complaints. This is happening because preloaded games on Origins are never encrypted , Square Enix might not have much experiences releasing games on the Origins platform

Someone has already beaten it , as it is the full game downloaded from Electronic Art's Origin .
Again none of the DLC are cracked so all DLC episodes , content and the Comrade online play are unavailable to the pirates

Steam's version remains uncracked

They can play, just checked out the pirates. Someone already completed the game, so yes, the pirates can play all 15 chapters WITH 4k reso texture pack. The only advantage we have(for the time being), is that they cant play any DLC and online. That's all.

Someone finished and we're still waiting for "launch".

It really isn't a leak, just pure carelessness. They were able to use the pre-load files and run it with the demo .exe file. Simple as that, doesnt qualify to be called a "crack".
