Is that the big Dripbox or the normal one? The big one is capable of 160w so yeah, that should be correct.

The normal one supposedly can only fire 0.2o and above though (60w). Supposedly.

Anyway, sometime ago I remembered someone or another over here recommending KLBrew. Now that they have a Shopee sale going on (and the fact that their latest line did pique my interest somewhat), I have finally made the plunge and ordered two of their juices to try out.

Oh okay. Like I edited above, it's supposedly just an unregulated mech with a rudimentary "protection" chip inside, so just watch your amp loads. Theoretically the chip should keep you pretty safe (think of it as an Evolve Kick), but 0.1-0.2 loads might be pushing it a bit - especially if you chain vape.

Try building up to 0.3 at least, if not just to keep the chip from dying an early death. What batteries are you using anyway?

I wouldn't do anything below 0.1 with a single batts.

Well, the AWT isn't a true 40A battery (check out Mooch's tests) and the HE2 does 20A max IINM. Technically, you can only really push about 80-90W out of a single 18650... and even then, not for very long before the voltage drops too low for it to be safe.

And yes, they are 4.2v batteries - all of them are. Of courseler they will give you the same volts (of course not counting internal resistance and all that other crap). But really, voltage doesn't matter (unless you wanna see the volt drop of the mod), how much amperage the battery can support *does*.

Claptons (and all the other exotic wires) need lotsa power unfortunately, and you need more/bigger batteries to push it that far... especially if you built it so low res.

Hence why 200w mods are in the vogue right now, and why they need more than one 18650 battery (or just one huge ass Li-Po) to run.

If you don't build it above 0.25-0.3 ohms, that "protection" chip might die on you sooner than you would think.

Try twisted kantal, it doesn't ramp up as slowly as claptons but it still gives a decent boost of flavour over normal straight coils. Plus it's pretty easy to make yourself.

I run mine, a pair of dual twisted 26awg coils, at 0.4o (on a regulated mod), and while there is a slight ramp up, the flavour isn't all that bad at 30-35w (around 3.7v... yes I have tame vaping needs lol). It should hit even harder on the Dripbox, at least with a fully charged battery (it being unreg and stuff).

If you still wanna run Claps (or Tigers or Aliens or Staples) you're gonna have to learn to live with the ramp up of above 0.3o coils... or get a multi-battery mod - preferably a regulated one.

For example, the nice and relatively inexpensive Cuboid. Or you can go all the way and get an RX200. Or even the bigger brother Dripbox (which runs two batteries).

Though you need to remember that multi-batt mods come with their own bag of worms... like having to "marry" your mod batteries and spares.

great, now thats a safe way to vape. If you want firing higher make sure you get a dual batt mod. single batt mod not really sustain chain vaping draining pretty fast on battery.

I've already had my fair share of squonking back in my Vmod days lol... but yeah it was fun times, I totally get why you would wanna do it.

Nowadays I just use my dripper for quick-switching between flavors though. The ADV stays in the 'Cado (which pretty much tastes like a dripper anyway) so I have a much lesser need for a squonker at the moment.

That said, my V2 does have BF pin... so if I ever feel nostalgic... I might just get one of those Dripboxes myself lol.
