XTAR stuff FTW. For a 4-slotter the VC4 is nice, though it doesn't use microUSB cables like the VC2/MC2/MC1/MC0 (so no ready spares).
Thanks for the guide. Personally I already felt something was off when the HG2s/browns practically flooded the market since last month (both expos got LG browns by the boatloads)... and then Abam Mooch from ECF posted his finding, which I reposted over here some time ago.

For me looking at the top insulator (glossy = fake, matte = ori) is enough 90% of the time, though apparently it's only a matter of time before counterfeiters get that right too.

I personally prefer Sammy 25R5s (or 30Qs, but I've yet to see anybody stocking those) to LG batts though, so it's less of an issue for me.

I normally buy HG2 from alexng for peace of mind. Xtar VC4 is good charger and i bought it from lelong around RM 90 including shipping, but the end connector ain't any standard micro USB like phone or MC2. I have both the 25R and 30Q and i have no complain on the battery since i normally fire below 70w using regulated mods. Doesn't matter due to my style of vaping.

I still use the sport cars battery (SOny VTC4, rated 30A continuous) for super low ohm [ 0.10Ω - 0.20Ω ] ... but not very often.

Pick which is cheaper, so far there is no clone for VC4.

Nitecore i4 = without LCD screen
Nitecore D4 = XTAR VC4 (VC4 is better, but depends on you)

If you want to get Niteocre D4, searh in lelong or shopee. XTAR is cheaper in lelong.

Look at the fill ports of those black avocado 24's...there's a silicone seal present. No wonder your tank is leaking...u need a seal there no matter if it's stainless steel or black.

Huh. Sounds fishy. That sounds like an extremely shoddy clone right there. An authentic Avocado 24 have both the clear and frosted glass section. They might be reputable and whatnot but who said they're immune to a fault. Maybe its their supplier that's ripping them off but either way, you should get a full refund.

Very weird in regards with the authentication bit. But before we go on, I'm actually running the Baby 'Cado, not the 24. So yeah, I don't even have a filling port lol.

Back to authentication. Looking at the FT 'Cado, and review units, I saw that they had the green "Avocado" tank rings installed and not the black ones (as on mine). Got a bit concerned and went straight back to the box for the codes, and straightaway got the "congratulations, your product is authentic" thing - none of that "your code have been checked" crap.

My theory is its open boxed and used. I'm giving the folks at VH the benefit of the doubt, it might be authentic but it might also be a return (because of the seals missing - GV does have their moments).

Or like, nekkidgramma said, it might be their supplier ripping them off pun. We don't know.

That said, the missing glass is really dodgy. As much as GV can be variable, they are also quite generous as far as manufacturers go: I have two of them ceramic blocks and silicone plugs, when Youde only gives you one with the GMv2. I can't see how the 'Cado 24 can come with single glass when even the Baby comes with two.

You're supposed to get one clear and one frosted Bro (at least thats how it is for my BabyC and how the 24 pics on FT show the package). It's sounding more and more like a return... or an unfortunate lemon.

Just want to warn you guys out there about Vapor Hub. I've seen people recommending this place and i myself have been a loyal customer especially when wanting to buying tanks.

I've heard stories about them selling clones and passing it off as authentic but brushed it off until i was a victim recently. They sold me the Avocado 24 Geekvape RDTA and assured me it was authentic. As soon as i got home and opened the tank, i realized it was a fake. Bad workman ship, package did not include frosted glass(only 2 clear glasses), insulator around the build post torn, eliquid fill hole cover so hard to remove(by right can be remove easily with your finger nails) and many other signs. I bought an authentic one from a vape shop at Kota Damansara the same night and am so happy with it.

Tried going back to get a refund and they did not want to give me a refund. After about 1 hour of back and forth, finally allowed me to change for e-liquid equivalent to the same price.

I will stay clear of this shop right now and suggest you guys do the same as well. Dishonest business like these deserve the hammer!

No because i was afraid they might tell me that i cant exchange or refund if i scratched that off. However markypcs did and when he checked it, the website stated that his code has already been checked once. So as you can see that code can be manipulated and its mostly useless. You can easily see the difference between the fake and the real.

For the authentic one i bought later that night, until now i didn't even bother to scratch as well because the difference is so huge that i am 100% sure that the kota damansara vape shop sold me an authentic one

As you can see his main picture which is probably from the supplier that supplies the clones, the tank comes fitted with clear glass. 1:1 it seems lol..
