QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Feb 16 2007, 08:20 PM) if your mobo has oc settings, then it shouldnt be any big problem as now your cpu is 133 and the ram is 200, running at 1:1 you have plenty of rooms to oc. i have same proc as yours. Really a slow proc at stock, now i oc till 3GHz also not that fast. Happy ocing. Read oc thread for basic and share your oc with us. sorry...i think my ram runs at 166MHz...the FSB is at 133MHz....actually how to know my mobo have oc setting...i have to look at bios is the ram timing can be change manually or not aaa?? err...if have oc setting...i just change the ram timing to 3 3 3 8 to run my ram at 200MHz..am i rite?? i have read some posting about ocing...but just got confused....all i wanna do is just run my ram at 200MHz..i think i will more quicker to load programs even the windows explorer... ...so.. if i change my ram timing ... does it will effect others stuff?? does the temperature will rise so high?? QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Feb 17 2007, 09:20 AM) nelza dont know go where already. haha..... @sang_karim You have better proc than mine, E0 stepping. now what you can do is just up the fsb, leave the ram as it is. if you set to 3-3-3-8(default timing for your ram) then up your fsb from 133 to 166, you can achieve 2988MHz with ram running at 207MHz. if you can run it at higher speed, change to 1:1. at 200MHz ram you can have 3.6GHz... mine max only till 3.3GHz bootable to windows. mine better than yours aaa?? i see ur proc is 2.4GHz also...different aa?? hmm..i think i'll gonna do some reading first to understand this...then u can help to guide me aaa?? hehe...i'll pm u if i have question...can aa? gonna leave my pc this weekends..maybe i'll try after CNY...anyway...thanks for ur guide...really appreciate it...

"2.8GHz Prescott CPU and Intel Hyper-Threading technology support Leveraging the Intel 845GE chipset to support Intel Hyper-Threading up to 2.8GHz P4 Prescott CPUs on 533MHz FSB, DDR333 memory, the P4GE-MX delivers a full-value, high-performance solution for today's most demanding tasks."
Does that mean my P4GE-MX can only support up to 2.8GHz only??

QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Mar 1 2007, 11:10 PM) with your proc stepping and temp. oc at that speed should be a piece of cake. Like what irangan said, PSU may cause instability issue. Is the vcore flunctuate when load?? oic...maybe la...i'm just using KVR with PCS chipset...dunno what brand of the PSU but at my receipt stated 480W .... flunctuate?? what is that aaa?? u mean keep changing aaa?? don't notice plak...maybe i check it later la... wanna sleep ler... here the fail screenie... any comments and suggestions really appreciated...
