QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Apr 26 2007, 10:38 AM) @sang_karim hehe..no la...my bro use albatron mobo with that 9600 Pro and 3.0Ghz proc befor his mobo died....the mobo also damage a 512Mb ram with a burn mark... so this mobo not supported by 9600pro, right? not enough agp voltage. I think u get better gc like 6600gt etc to run this rig. did your bro using p4p800se with 9600pro before? |

QUOTE(kabukiawie @ May 4 2007, 09:46 PM) hahahaha.....same case happen to me. cmos battery is getting weak already. I just ignore it. If not the cmos battery flat till i have to manually set the time and date then i will change it. Now i just leave it be as it is seems that it is not that frequent(like 1 in 2 weeks or longer). hehe..some sort like that la...so...it's the cmos battery rite....so i just can follow ur footsteps la by ignoring it until critically needed... Is it the same happen to your p4p800se? |

QUOTE(colinwong89 @ May 8 2007, 01:11 AM) Very obvious that your PSU's the culprit. If it's possible, get a high quality one. I have an Enermax 350W which is powering my PC very nicely, which has four 80mm casing fans, two hard drives and the rest listed in my signature. waa..only 350W power can run all that... |

QUOTE(shinjite @ May 8 2007, 02:37 PM) for future investment get the latest truepower PSUs which are compatible with 20/24 pin ATX. 400W should be sufficient for S478. err..sorry for being super noob ... for true power psu, it will state true power only aa? if not state...that's not true power ka? how about the efficiency?? sang_karim : 350W if its truepower it is still okay. Watch out for the 12V A <--- the important 1 |

@harusame
if u don want to spend much money on heat sink...i think u can only add some fans for good air flow .... maybe 1 fan infront for intake and 1 fan at rear for exhaust ... i'm currently opening 2 of my 5.25" bay's cover for air intakes .. with 1 fan at rear for exhaust .. current temp for CPU is 45C and mobo at 37C for normal use only...no OC ... *don't forget about ur cable management to coz good air flow depends on that also .. QUOTE(kabukiawie @ May 11 2007, 09:06 AM) ooo.......nice mod. no mod la bro ... just open the 2 front bays cover ... since i'm using one 80mm fan at rear for exhaust .. so the air flow just straight from the open bays to exhaust ... hehe ... wanna wait for new PSU before try to mod the fan since it's only fit for one 80mm fan but need to make a house bracket to pun the fan... still thinking how to make that house bracket... 37C mobo temp quite nice. Mine open case just a bit better than yours. *i'm hiding the ribbon ide cable to other side of the side panel .. so no ribbon cable blocking the air flow ... @colinwong89
before opening the covers+using side panel air duct+messy ide ribbon cable .. both mobo and cpu temp almost 50C and above ... and the hsf also running at very high speed and so noisy ... after removing the covers+remove air duct+hiding the ide ribbon cable .. that's what i got .. hehe ... |

QUOTE(kabukiawie @ May 16 2007, 09:57 AM) so you just open it without putting a fan?? hmm......the cable seem not so tidy. the cable not to long la to bundle together ... it's ok la for me ... if the temp rise like crazy then i'll go tie the cable together... hehe .. |
