Guys, just some quick question regarding to 478 procs. Im currently owning two 478 procs. Which are 3.0E (12caps) that im using now, and another 3.0C (30caps). Both of this procs are running on same speed, and HT enable. The different just the L2 cache. 3.0E having 1M while the other 3.0C was only 512kb. I was wander, which procs deal and giving better performance. Ofcause in this case i dont put OC into. Due the 3.0C was having 30caps i believe it can do more then the other one.

Wah.. Just home from PC fair. Gosh! Nothing much there. Mostly sell laptop and others. 7 series AGP all not available. Yea.. Agree! Kch price are sharp! Next time will look at LYN instead of local shop. Even + in shipping also cheaper then on shop price.

Hha. CM Hyper 6 match my mobo dont worry. Just my casing become pack after put all the thing in. No worry. Wanna did some casing arrangement and do abit OC and see how the thing goes.

Haha.. Yea yea!! Agree with edministrator. There just a name PC FAIR. But inside there all was doing cleareance stock business. Nothing much to see actually. Dont go. Its a waste of petrol and energy go there see nothing good.

Hmm.. Just did some cable management all hide some junk cable up. Now the casing looks more tidy. Haha. My pc side panel only closed when i do room cleaning. Rest of the time is open. Lol. The cheapest way to cool down ther cpu.

p/s: Just hit 3.3Ghz wth my 3.0E at running at 38'c idle temperature. Trying to squeeze more!

if no physical damage on the proc, it still not comfirm that it is working proc.

if want oc like mad, psu and hfs have to be ready.  break 4GHz!! hohoho....

USing INtel board cannot o/c one wor...Have to get another mobo.Between the Transcend RAM good or not ?

rm70 for xp90 is quite worth it.

if you really want to oc, the only ways is to change the mobo. keep your intel mobo as backup.

seriously though, the MSI Neo2 series dun hv problems wif RAM compatibility.infact its quite good for normal use.but OC wise,its not as good as Asus.my Neo2-S hardly hit 250FSB stable for everyday usage.

Anyone tried Transformers:The Game wif P4 478?mine during stages is ok.but the cutscenes are laggy though.i'm sure not GC problem.proc slow. loading also slow.

if u upgrade to 7800GS also, u'll only get better 3rdMark.overall gaming also wont hv a so significant performance gain.ur proc is bottlenecking the 7800GS.if wan upgrade,the best for p4 is only 256MB 7600GT DDR3 if wan minimise proc bottleneck(unless u hv p4 gallatin)

you are using hyper6, right?? should be not a big problem. is it full copper?? Last time sHawty use hyper 6 able to push till 4ghz with the same board like yours. same 3.0E also...haha

set vdimm to 2.85v and start push to max. watch the load temp.

Haha.. Place order for the GC already. But duno when arrive. Even end of month arrive i still need to see got enough $$ to bring it home or not. Otherwise, just put a reserved tag on it. Next month get my commission then bring it home. Haha.

Btw, tried with 3-4-4-8 timing. But got 2:3 ratio for my rigs. But well, could hit 3.7Ghz wo. 250mhz * 15.

P/s: Just checked my stepping. Is D0 stepping. Are this stepping good? Hows a stepping can influence the OC result?
