earlier today i traded my 810i with 1gb mspd +RM 200 for howjimmy's O2 XDA II mini..stated in his post its all working properly..when i received hte item..i tested it..the battery was around 39% and it always hagned when playing media files..he said a full charge would fix the problem..so i did a full charge as wel...when the battery elvel went to about half..it started Hanging again..

within the SAME day i told him to make a refund..but all i could get was my phone back but only RM 100 instead of my original payment of RM200

i'm not saying howjimmy is a bad trader but i'm saying that i'm not very happy with how he resolved this problem as i had to forfeit my RM100

update:

so last night i met up with him and he return my w810i and made a payment of RM65 coz he said at that point he didnt have enough cash..
nice enough he said he would keep in touch for further transactions of the refund

basically at this point..

1. i'm at a lost of RM 100
2. i did not get any items
3. petrol cost all oso nvr count (that one i dun wanna count)

so basically RM 100 lost to him for nothing in return

although he's trying to settle it but i won't be contented unless i get back my full refund of RM 200..

as i gave him RM 100 for nothing

he said he wasn't aware of the PDA's faulty problem before...so that i dont wanna count with him..but after he's aware of it he should refund full to me right

k here's the story

yesterday my bro asked bout the trade..he was quite angry about it...so u know how the trade went already rite?

then he's asking for a full refund..coz now i paid RM 100 to you for nothing..and he got really mad so he asked me to contact you ASAP..coz RM 100 is alot of money and i'm short of cash as well now

he told me to post the SD card back to you ASAP as well..so i'm planning on doing that tomorrow morning pls reply ASAP..

coz he was saying the current situation is:

1. i paid you RM 100
2. i didn't get anything at all
3. basically u just got RM 100 easy money

so he's asking me to get back the full RM 200 ASAP yesterday u only gave me RM65 which means u still owe me RM 135

no way you can't refund on a faulty item and say the RM 100 is forfeited

RM 100 is alot of money man..hope u can settle this quick..there's a post in the Trade Dispute forum..i think i gave you the link already..

pardon my words but he's really pissed about this whole thing..

so far i've PMed him twice and he said the pda is still being fixed so he can't get it back yet..

he has closed his thread of selling phones as he says he won't be free these few weeks

where he sent it to fix?
maybe you can ask him for the contact number so that you can call the office to update the status regularly.

also, try to call him straight instead of pm-ing.

I know how long its been, i am trying to sell it for RM 1150. And thats minimizing my loss. I told u from the start, no promises on how long its going to take. I don't think i will re open it, lets just say LYN is a bit too hostile and the benifets don't outweigh the cost.

No offence but don't you guys think it might be SLIGHTLY unfair for howjimmy as well? To think about it, he already mentioned that no exchange should be given since the beginning but he would be responsible to repair it if there are any problems. It was the TS who REQUESTED the exchange and OFFERED to give RM100 as a form of compensation. Whatever the TS intention was (just to go all out to get his phone back), it was his words. Spoken promises/deals are still deals.

Sorry but I just think that sometimes our opinions shouldn't be so biased and constantly siding only the thread starters. But then again since howjimmy is already willing to take up the blame, why not go to HELP uni to check out his progress? It's not that far after all if you really need your cash back.

i really dont see the point in that coz either way he's gonna say its not sold yet..thats all he ever says..oh btw he's sorta like disappeared from the forums..he closed his thread already and i've been searching for his posts and have yet to find one
