earlier today i traded my 810i with 1gb mspd +RM 200 for howjimmy's O2 XDA II mini..stated in his post its all working properly..when i received hte item..i tested it..the battery was around 39% and it always hanged when playing media files..he said a full charge would fix the problem..so i did a full charge as wel...when the battery level went to about half..it started Hanging again..

within the SAME day i told him to make a refund..but all i could get was my phone back but only RM 100 instead of my original payment of RM200

i'm not saying howjimmy is a bad trader..but i would like you all to advise..

shouldn't i get back my full payment of RM200 instead of only 100?
coz at this moment i'm really short of cash and RM 100 is alot


Dispute settled by refunding RM 40...i didn't want to wait any longer.

update:

so last night i met up with him and he return my w810i and made a payment of RM65 coz he said at that point he didnt have enough cash..


nice enough he said he would keep in touch for further transactions of the refund

basically at this point..

1. i'm at a lost of RM 100
2. i did not get any items
3. petrol cost all oso nvr count (that one i dun wanna count)

so basically RM 100 lost to him for nothing in return

thing is..nicely enough he tries to settle everything nicely..but initially he wasn't even going to refund at all..

however after that he still isn't willing to do a full refund.. he claims that by today he would have to return my w810 to the shop he works at..so thats why i quickly asked him to meet up so i can get my phone back..

i've notified him nicely..i'm hoping he can do something about it as i have sort of 'donated' RM 100 to him just like that and its alot of money

although he's trying to settle it but i won't be contented unless i get back my full refund of RM 200..

as i gave him RM 100 for nothing

he said he wasn't aware of the PDA's faulty problem before...so that i dont wanna count with him..but after he's aware of it he should refund full to me right

coz initially u didnt even wanna return my phone..so the 1st thing i wanted to do was make sure i can get my phone back ASAP so i wont have to keep the faulty PDA..so i went all out just to get my phone back..coz once u send it to the shop u wont be able to get it back

howjimmy called me and settled it this way:

- he will return the RM 35 tonight
- will return remaining RM 100 when he manages to sell the XDA II Mini

thx for your quick response jimmy

no hard feelings.. dispute settled! thumbup.gif

will update when he finish making the refund =)

UPDATE:

howjimmy's XDA II Mini has been sent for repairs..
could be battery and firmware problem

hope can be settled quickly =)

so far i've PMed him twice and he said the pda is still being fixed so he can't get it back yet..

he has closed his thread of selling phones as he says he won't be free these few weeks

ok he says he's got the xda back..apparently he sent the xda to his friend's place out of town..

just wait till he updates again..he sure is taking awhile..

well he said he got the phone back..just need to sell it now...coz he's only gonna return the RM 100 when he sells the XDA..

maybe he shud return my RM 100 1st..then he'll be more motivated to sell it.. hmm.gif

today i receied his msg and he stated that he's not going to reopen the thread in LYN anymore..what do u guys think? plus it's been almost a month now since the deal..

currently he states that he's selling the XDA II Mini for RM1150

i really dont see the point in that coz either way he's gonna say its not sold yet..thats all he ever says..oh btw he's sorta like disappeared from the forums..he closed his thread already and i've been searching for his posts and have yet to find one
