howjimmy was online yesterday, have you called or PM him to update the status?

hmm...howjimmy....reminds me of another conman jimmy77 or something.

so far i've PMed him twice and he said the pda is still being fixed so he can't get it back yet..

he has closed his thread of selling phones as he says he won't be free these few weeks

where he sent it to fix?
maybe you can ask him for the contact number so that you can call the office to update the status regularly.

also, try to call him straight instead of pm-ing.

i'll try ask him for the details of the place he sent to repair =)

ok he says he's got the xda back..apparently he sent the xda to his friend's place out of town..

just wait till he updates again..he sure is taking awhile..

well he said he got the phone back..just need to sell it now...coz he's only gonna return the RM 100 when he sells the XDA..

maybe he shud return my RM 100 1st..then he'll be more motivated to sell it..

today i receied his msg and he stated that he's not going to reopen the thread in LYN anymore..what do u guys think? plus it's been almost a month now since the deal..

currently he states that he's selling the XDA II Mini for RM1150

Added on February 6, 2007, 1:16 pmits been more than a month now since the deal..he still hasn't updated me on ANYTHING..everytime i ask him for an update, all i get is he hasn't sold it yet and its been a month..he works for a handphone shop near HELP University College (Pusat Bandar Damansara) the shop's name is K-Mobile if i'm not mistaken..how long does it take a person who works for a handphone shop to sell ONE phone? its more than a month already!

No offence but don't you guys think it might be SLIGHTLY unfair for howjimmy as well? To think about it, he already mentioned that no exchange should be given since the beginning but he would be responsible to repair it if there are any problems. It was the TS who REQUESTED the exchange and OFFERED to give RM100 as a form of compensation. Whatever the TS intention was (just to go all out to get his phone back), it was his words. Spoken promises/deals are still deals.

Sorry but I just think that sometimes our opinions shouldn't be so biased and constantly siding only the thread starters. But then again since howjimmy is already willing to take up the blame, why not go to HELP uni to check out his progress? It's not that far after all if you really need your cash back.

i really dont see the point in that coz either way he's gonna say its not sold yet..thats all he ever says..oh btw he's sorta like disappeared from the forums..he closed his thread already and i've been searching for his posts and have yet to find one
