I'm from the iPhone 6 plus and I really miss it's standby time. My s7 Edge can drop 6% overnight. And that's about 7 hours of me being asleep. I didn't have to worry about my iPhone having WiFi on or location on or what not. Android oh Android.

I'm terribly disappointed with my new S7 Edge. On Sunday night as usual I plugged in my phone for it to charge. The next morning I noticed that there were purple or greenish areas on the screen. Brought it to the service centre on Monday, they said it's probably my fault for charging it overnight. They were telling me I shouldn't have overcharged it and should've removed it from the charger at 100%. I was dumbfounded, so I took the phone back and emailed Samsung for confirmation. And they replied the same thing!

The phone's gone from bad to worse now. When I switch it on I can see that the backlight is active but there's nothing displayed. Have no choice but to send it in now. Not sure whether or not I get to claim warranty for what has happened.

Happy to hear people's views on this.

typing using the swiftkey on whatsapp is kinda laggy. it is like the phone cannot catch up with my typing speed. anyone has this problem?

My friend just bought an used Maxis set , model number is SM-G935FD

When the phone first bootup there is a Maxis splash screen about Knox features !!

the ads is seriously killing me. I root all my Samsung phones but for this one, i am still deciding to do it or not.
Argh.

Thanks for the suggestion, i normally using adaway.
Can recommend which ad blocker that i can use?

I love to download wallpaper from Zedge and watch movie from movie box, the ads is insanely keep poping up.

Done with the installation, indeed it does block all the ads. Great!!! but i do have a bit of concern as this creating a VPN to monitor the network.
This may open a bridge for the phone to be hack. I am not saying adaway is safe neither but this VPN does worries me a bit.

I guess at the end i might root my phone. Aside from the ads, i can use TB to freeze those bloats as well.
By the way, do you use screen off app? after the new update, whenever i lock the phone by using the app, it will redirect me to the pin or pattern unless if i lock the phone using power button then i can use fingerprint.

the only real ad blocker for non root is adguard. fullstop.
hint: use luckypatcher custom patch for adguard (not dowan support dev but cant afford subscription. im ok with one off paid app)

only adguard has adv features (https,black/whitelisting, etc) others are crap.

adblocker plugin for samsung browser is another lame plugin. crystal is clone (forked) of Adblock Plus.

adguard will handle ur ads nightmare.

I tried it as well last week, same problem still persist. No signal at all.

Its something new for samsung. The revamp UI is unique. is about time samsung ditch Touchwiz?

The service is working just not showing the bar.  Unless there are other solution for the 3rd party lock with fingerprint i have to use it.  I need the greenify lock + hibernate function.

Oh i forgot.  I saw some non hibernate apps in greenify which doesn't get hibernated unless i manually do it. Even i leave for days.  So i think mm doze not dozing it or not entirely.

Saw someone mentioned that doze uses gyro to detect the phone is lying on flat to doze. So it might not work if in pocket.  Not sure how true.

Greenify will surpress until we turn on the app again.
