Please keep in mind, manufacturer using different version of chipset is not meant for different functionality, this theory is always true, the fact is the variant difference should not visible to end user, SD and Exynos to user is the same phone, Sony and Samsung camera module is same to user, unless you benchmark it purposely. So even SD820 by nature should support QC 3.0, but Samsung will tune it down or disable the function to match with Exynos chipset.

So to say SD820 sports Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 is impossible, else it won't call the same S7E anymore and could be other variant or model name.

This is the way electronic devices manufacturered, to play safe in terms of production supply they need to source alternative parts for their product, to reduce the risk part EOL or part shortage due to unpredictable disaster happened in the part origin manufacturer.

I din even sell my old phone no matter how well it kept. All my previous phones were just lying in my drawer as a collection, I don't care to sell it because it just worth few hundreds, can't really help to pay for few K flagship.

A drawback of this curve screen, the edge tends to reflect light.from the windows when using the phone in car, hardly can see the font at the edge.
