he's probably prepared to stick with newcastle even if they do go down. it's time to stick to basics and build his reputation again. newcastle have a really good base and they will easily bounce back up to epl the following season

We had many great footballers at LFC, back in the 70s, 80s, keegan, dalglish, rush, McDermott, case, neal, alan & ray kennedy, cleamence, souness, Aldridge, Barnes, Nicol, molby, lee, beardley etc

All good talent, it was professionals all the way but never, never ever pissed at Liverpool once their time came to end.

I know even mcmanaman who left LFC in a disputed. circumstances appears to be quite friendly about all things Liverpool these days. Why didn't they do it back then?

I know some said it OK Owen joined Manu since it's after RMadrid and we shd get over it (hotly debated topic on FB calling those anti Owen fans as being deluded   )

Torres gets more stick for wanting and leaving lfc from many fans based in UK (judging from fb LFC post) than of possibly hitting out on Owens 'betrayal'

Yet, we have a host of anti rafa LFC fans, calling him (RB) a fraud & calling his achievements a fluke (esp Istanbul).

you're gonna step on many ppl's toes with your reply, coz every liverpool manager(including rafa) received all the support, backing and criticism, even from rafa diehard fans. klopp is also going through the same thing.

you need to understand the reason behind rafa's cult following. it wasn't just purely down to silverware, it was his passion for the club. he made lp number 1 in europe heck the most feared team in europe, he made anfield a fortress, he revamped our academy, until today we are still reaping the rewards, he even donated to hillsborough fund. he was the fan's champion, the only person in liverpool fc at that time to walk to talk. many of us are rafa fans because we appreciate all that he has done but we all also know that nobody is bigger than liverpool fc not even rafa. come tonight we'll welcome him with open arms, we'll sing him the praises he rightly deserves but without a doubt we will be supporting liverpool fc to win this game coz UCL is waiting for us the real kings of europe and our new general klopp to spearhead the way forward.

Leicester is 1 win away to be crowned champion... Wow, so now other teams dont have any excuses (about money, marquee signings etc.) anymore. A relegation battled team in past season can be champion with peanut investment... I hope they really become a champion this weekend... What a surprise. I though Reneiri spoke too soon about Pochettino but turns out to be a positive mind game and benefit to them.

When can we celebrate this kind of moment... Hope it is not far from now...
