I'm using normal maxis 3G sim (not multi sim), taking the unlimited package of RM99 per month.
The connection is good. But the problem is, it will always get disconnected.

i wonder is it worth to subscribe maxis mobile internet. My area only have maxis and celcom 3G/HSPDA. Planning to terminate my streamyx since not always at home. after i read this forum, unlimited and no fair usage policy seem good.

i would say celcom is the worst. oversubscribe in certain areas. plus with the capping speed.
at least this maxis plan has no FUP yet.

what usage charge? you already subscribe unlimited data package. Lol.
maybe you think this is like digi where extra charges will be imposed when you go off the limit.

from your SS of your bill, that doesn't really show you were being charged extra.

Could it be you have sup line or other VAS?

ur case is similar to forumer MX510. all his multi-SIM bills wnet crazy. u better goto Maxis to reconfirm ur billing/account status.

Last 2 weeks i can use 3g in my housing area with no problem. But now i cant connect to the net unless i switched off my 3g and use edge instead. The 3g is working fine outside of my housing area. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before?

Working perfectly after few reports made to them they promised to fix it end of July and now it's already early August

In my case, a little different. I have 1 main sim and 3 sub simcard.

Full speed from each. Monthly charges are still a question till now. (i received my first bill, and it seemed fine)

The charges will be :
Rm99(Unlimited data plan) + Rm45(Rm15x3) + Rm30(Rm10x3) = RM174 x 105% (tax) = RM182.70(Bill should arrive in 2 weeks time)

For the RM30(RM10x3), is the plan for every single sub simcard i have. The CS confirmed three times with me that i need a plan for every sub simcard i have. So RM10 for simcard is the cheapest plan maxis have.

Well, i have a question. If i have a RM50 value plan for the primary simcard which have the Rm99 internet package, will the sub simcards be charged with these rm10 per month?
I will call up maxis CS for more info regarding this matter.

I'm currently using the maxis 3g unlimited plan at kerteh, terengganu. The HSDPA signal is quite strong here.

Unfortunately, i have a problem with the modem always disconnecting. Using the N95 as a modem, it can downloads up to 120kB/s (rapidshare/hotfile), but will disconnect after 2 to 3 minutes (maybe less).

It is a modem fault or the network itself? If the network, may have to change to change service (using it for a week now), but if modem, may get a new modem.

Any help, or if other share the same experience?
