For large power users like factories, pF is important because if we do not correct the pF using capacitor bank, measured in kVArh, TNB will charge us penalty.

For average home users, the savings is negligible as TNB do not charge you according to kVArh, but in kWh (TNB adsorb the pF 'losses')

Like what ozak says is true, no difference to your electricity bill. nod.gif

If you want to save electricity, consider using led bulbs and a/c or fridge with inverter and high efficiency compressors.. might able to save you some money.
