based on my research ipad mini 4 cost usd 499 and in malaysia apple sell it 1.9k, so I think SE also sell it at 1.9k

Saw in other forum only US sells iPhone SE at lower price, any other country will have price higher than USD499. |

With the current SGD to MYR at around 2.9. My prediction is that the 64GB one will sell in Malaysia for around 2.4k to 2.6k.
On the other hand, below 2k is not possible. We'd be lucky if we get anything below 2.4k. I, on the other hand, plan to buy from US which at the rate of 4 to 1, should be around 2k. |

Actually, my brother in-law called me and said the only version available unlocked in the US is the Model A1662, which is compatible with LTE band 3 but not compatible with band 7. The situation is a bit different from the 6 and 6s, where the US unlocked model could be used by with all the relevant bands for Malaysia and Singapore telcos (3, 7 and 8). After doing some reading (here and here), I decided not to take the chance. Will just pickup a Model A1723 SE from Singapore next month. Must pay more, but at least I'll get easy warranty coverage (the SE is for my mum who lives in J.B, I live in Singapore) if anything goes wrong.This post has been edited by G-17: Mar 28 2016, 08:55 PM |
