Its just so sad how pathetic we have become. From PL champions.. to this.
Nothing to look forward to this season, just going to have to look towards next season. (gosh I sounded like a Liverpool fan saying something like that)

QUOTE(Belphegor @ Mar 21 2016, 10:38 AM)
We did actually try to solve the problem during mid-transfer window. Just that only his contract clause is to train with first team and warm the bench. I have no seen him performing at all since his loan sign. Falcao is another fail loan since he cannot adapt to BPL style. Injury and french league might be the cause of his lost touch. Remy, put on weight since the last time I saw him. Had given up on hopes to stay beyond this season.

Expect a major overhaul this season guys. Without UCL competition, I can tell many players will seek opportunity elsewhere for career advancement. I personally would want to see some of our youngsters to step up since we have nothing to lose for next season. Throw them some games on League & early stage of FA Cup. Versus weaker side, field them. Let them gain experience.

I'm hoping for some of the underperforming first team players to be cleared out as well. Hazard's mind is clearly elsewhere and we might as well cash in now before he gets worse. I dont even mind a swap for Bale or something.

glad Conte is on board. Hope he can whip this team into shape. Right now i'm enjoying watching the youngsters more than the veteran players. They're playing with a lot more spirit.

This whole season has gone wrong for us. We haven't been a solid team from the beginning of the season. It started with the Eva-Mou incident and snowballed downhill to us finishing 9th (possibly) and having no Euro football. Absolutely demoralizing as a fan to see your team, who were the PL champs last season, falling from grace.

Conte is going to have a really tough job keeping the ship together. I foresee a rebuilding period for us and possibly having to play catchup.

Either way, Blue till I die. KTBFFH!

Mourinho might be the worst appointment for them. They're not seeing the light yet because they're only right now pulling themselves out of the darkness call LVG.

Under Mourinho, we sold De Bruyne, Lukkaku and a few others and barely saw any capable youth players pull through. United's current crop of youth is one of the best in a while. How long till they are replaced by more seasoned players under Mou ?

And lets not forget the Mourinho ego that tends to take over him after a while. Its hard to say a tiger can lose his stripes after it has happened in two different spells at two different clubs. I also find it funny that the fans say are saying he is the best choice for the club. I frankly believe it was these Man Utd fans who are backing him now that were berating him not too long ago for his style, tactic (park the bus hmm?) and image. Dont get me wrong, I love Mourinho. I still do. But if you're saying that he is the best appointment for United, a club that prides itself above the ethics of hiring for the long term (or so i'm told), then I say you are delirious.

Sack emenalo

Totally agree with this ! Sack Emenalo. He has been responsible for a string of failed recent signings such as Filipe Luis, Papy Djilobodji, Mohamed Salah, Radamel Falcao and Juan Cuadrado.

I think for most of us, we're expecting major overhauls. Sell the deadweights and bring in some bright talents and marquees. You can bet both clubs of Manchester will be huge title contenders after bringing in Pep and Mourinho. The club need to ensure we are also in contention. We definitely have the coach to take us there.

Isn't that the case with most Brazilian footballers (i.e Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Adriano). Their prime was at about 27. Then it all went downhill for them.

Only one signing so far, with about a month to go till the Premier League begins. We really need to speed things up. I hope we dont do things last minute as our squad will need time to gel with the new formation, strategy and game plan.

Wow can we like sell these deadweights already. Ivanovic and Oscar have to go. Now with Costa wanting an exit, we will have to look for a prolific striker to replace him.

Our defense needs to be shored up, i really hope we sign a couple of defenders soon. We can't rely on Cahill and Ivanovic and end up like last season again. Already had a preview of the same weak display in the Rapid Vienna match.

yea i'm loving conte's personality. its refreshing and i really hope it works out for him in the PL. Hope the board follows through with his request for more signings. We can't just rely on last year's deadweights.

Our defense was impressive though, probably the only positive point to take out of that match. It was structured and composed, which is a farcry from last season lol.

I dont get why Oscar is still in the club. Theres no redemption for him at Chelsea. Also I watched Marcelo walk past our defense and score like it wasn't even there in the first place. This could be another woeful season if we dont sign more.

Why can't they just give Conte the players he needs? We really need some CB's. 60 million for Lukaku is a huge waste of money. I really wont expect much if the current squad is our final squad for the upcoming season. I mean look at how woeful we were on both attack and defense against a second string Madrid side.

Emenalo recommended djilobodji so I really dont even know how competent he is at his job. And yes I agree i'd rather spend 75 m on a good CB. how about Mustafi from Valencia?

Aina should be a starter ahead of iva for sure. Hazard and Kante were amazing !
