It's still unclear whether we can save the replay or it's an instant replay (by pressing button X?) but then they say this will bring thrashtalk to the next level because we can now share the replay with friends??

Either way...it's cool. I am happy with this alpha build. It looks kinda nice, can't wait for the beta~

And the shield grenade also look freaking huge.

If it's an Instant replay, and you can't really save the replays... then that's useless. Cause if you're on multiplayer, you wouldn't want every single n00b to press the button when they kill someone.

The shield generated by the shield grenade, yes.. it looks big.. and pretty much renders the spartans inside indestructible. But... this brings up another few points in the name of game balancing for a multiplayer game. Namely...
- If there's something that can give one side invulnerability whereever and whenever they want to, then there must either be some form of disadvantage to it (big ass shield generator) or... the other side has some sort of super weapon that NECESSITATES the use of such a sheild generator.

2nd. look in the video, notice when he dropped the shield grenade... no.. shield beach ball, it still rolls and the generated field moves with it (either that or I was too tired when I watched it) That would mean a squad could effectively fit in the sheild and then kick the beach ball around to use as some sort of temporary APC, given the team a good attack/defense strategy..

Again.. there must be some way to balance out the invulnerability of the shield, either it lasts only for a while, or there's some SUPER weapon that can damage/remove it quickly (can't have the n00bs constantly shielding a flag) Or.. it's the kenetic shield the Gungan's used in Star Wars : Episode 1, which basically means that it stops all energy (plasma bolts, lasers) and high velocity objects (bullets, rockets, etc. etc.) but it wouldn't stop one pissed off MC charging into the shield with a energy sword ready to skewer fish in a barrel.

One more thing... did the video show the guy in the shield FIRING OUT?

I suspect the shield works both ways. While it protects you it also prevent you from responding in kind to the threat at hand.
