WTF ... i just heard yesterday hairulez when to GH and register for the H3 event ... where im supposed to register yesterday but Ed and Jason say registration close on Sept 21 .. this is so UNFAIR

Hi guys,

I'm no anti hype or somethign (infact, i've pre-ordered from GH n waiting for it)

but i've received many negative feedback from my frens (yes, they are pirates)

they said, game graphics are like PDZ or half life 2 standard. one of my fren compare the graphics with bioshock/GOW n he said halo3 is a failure.

and graphic details are also uncomparable with Bioshock/GOW = he said everything is very plain and not so detail.

Gameplay wise = normal FPS, nothing much can do except shoot, run n jump.

just now, i told one of my pirate fren that all game site giving halo3 a very good rating which is almost perfect and he said the game reviewers are blind

and now, im wondering, is this game that great?

other than MP aspect, what you guys expect from this game? the story line? graphics or gameplay?

what if the graphic and gameplay are really that sucky like all my frens told me, do you guys still enjoy the game? (common be real, don't tell me graphic is not important for you guys, if its true, why playing your game in HDTV/LCD?)

ps: I'm just asking you guys opinion, so don't flame me k? i support original also,k? peace!

@jay: If the same group of reviewers gave Bioshock and Gears good ratings in the past, and gave Halo 3 a good rating now, are they still blind?

Almost all of the reviews out there mentions the fact that the graphics aren't as good as Gears and Bioshock. If that is the only factor to influence a person, then I think the Halo community won't really miss him/her.

As for your friends saying "nothing much can do, can only run/shoot/jump" that's like saying in Mario you can only jump and walk to the right, LOL. What were they expecting? Master Chief to pay their bills? Settle their debts? Make their penises longer? Transform an Aiwa TV into a Bravia? It's an FPS - so I think the more seasoned gamers will control their expectations.

(AFAIK most of these complaining gamers are younger ones, started off with the PS1, tak tahu the asal usul of the games)

Aside from that, the online adversarial, online coop, user movies and levels are reason enough - with the time tested Halo gameplay of course. No one's forcing anyone to buy - and I think the smart thing to do is vote with your wallet.

Yup i heard a lot of negative complaints also from my "pirate frens". The feedback from
them is very very dissapointing. Not sure how it received a 9.5 review from Gamespot.
But i'll buy it anyway to check it ou myself

@jaylike It has been noted that Halo 3 has a weak campaign. One of the flaws this time around.

And Halo is an FPS. It runs, shoot and jump. I think if you set your expectations to that, thats exactly what it offers. It does the basic well without complicating things.

When you think about it, GoW is also, run, shoot and dive/cover.

As most reviews have said, Halo3 trumps in multiplayer. 4-player Coop, replay videos, Forge... this game is going to stay on top of the Live charts for years to come.

jay, i seriously have doubts over the iso/pirate ver of halo 3. so far, all the online reviews i read didnt say the graphics suck at all. let's just wait for the actual game and see how "sucky" is the graphics is.
