Thinking to get a wide angle lens, was considering between Tokina 16-28mm F2.8 and Canon 17-40mm F4.0

Any suggestion?

Some said Tokina has a sharper image. Should just go and try yourself.

Yes, i have done some review online..

Tokina indeed sharper than Canon 17-40 but heavier and bigger as well. Most probably will go for Tokina smile.gif

Anyone here owned this lens?

Tamrom 15-30 f2.8 or Canon 16-35 F4 would be better than the ones you listed IMO.
