Just sold the last of my Canon apsc stuff.  Now everything Canon I have is full frame.  And for my video work its Panasonic (Thank you Canon for making me go 2 systems for you lacking video improvements).

Traded in my backup camera the 7d2 for a 6d2.  So it didn't feel like it was expensive.  And having so many Canon lenses and speedlights I can't really jump ship without really financially hurting.  Hopefully, it won't be so bad as I play around with it now as my main event photography camera.  Now I have the 6d1 and 6d2 to play around with and compare. 

Right now I'm enjoying this flip screen DPAF Full frame.  And it does feel like Canon has been quite stingy - Like calculating the most minimal upgrade possible.  Seriously the improvements are so minimal.  I can see why people don't like its AF point layout.  Looks like a super smart center focus system, which doesn't exactly always hit where I want it to, so I'd rather still switch to 1 pt center focus then.  I like how you can do a few custom changes to the viewfinder.  A grid in the viewfinder is very nice. 

What is the 6D2 like? A ton of new modern features that gives the same end result as a 6D1.  If that makes any sense lol.

this means not so richfag should get a 6d classic instead since the result could be better a bit only?

even ancient FF like 5D II (my current camera) is still fantastic to use, and they are so cheap these days. Basically no point to upgrade from 6D to 6D II if you don't need the AF and flip screen.

was hoping 6dii would be something that worth upgrading since sometimes i do struggle with the 6d af system.. finger crossed that the mirrorless is really something worth to wait for if not i will eventually jump to sony

the m5/m6 are quite nice to use actually, tried them at camera shop and i quite liked it. too bad they are kinda overpriced, rm4k+ for the m5 is unacceptable.

i heard that canon is developing FF mirrorless? sounds exciting to me, especially when they already have really good AF for liveview.

Knowing canon's half-baked solution not to cannibalise their other model, I won't bet on their mirrorless. I was really looking forward to m5 when it was first announced but their pricing just killing it for me, coupled with almost Zero development on m-mount lenses. I can bet, they will just tell you to buy their proprietary mount adapter to use their EF mount lenses.

Ended up getting a6000 instead after m5 announcement. A real shocker since that a6000 came out in 2014 and no camera has beat it yet in terms of functionality vs price.

Then buy 6300 lo . I think almost same price as m5. Besides, I don't think canon's apsc noise any better.

Then getting a FF is a no brainer. Not sure why you bought a6000 in first place since it has completely different demographic.

You make it sound like the worst noise performing sensor but every apsc and m43 regardless of brand are like that. That's why many recommend not to exceed iso 3200 for apsc and 1600 for m43. And at that price point what you expect . Again different demographic that do not want to lug around big bags. If you want superb image quality of course go FF. Better yet Medium format .  Just a note, in the old days a FF camera max iso 800 (read somewhere). It was the best at it's time .

Get Fuji X-T2, confirm no regret.

Don't get me wrong, I loved canon. But i don't think M5 can beat X-T2 yet.

Keyword 'usable'. Iso performance subject to users preference. I use a6000 and on occasion iso 3200 is fine with me. And since i primary shoot b&w anyway, lol.
