My Christmas came a little bit earlier this year. 

Thanks..just sold all my nikon gear last week..at the 1st i want to buy A7III but when i saw EOS R review my mind was change, not because of EOS R alone but the variety of RF lenses that Canon offer..the thing that hold me back is coz the RF lens price, compare to Sony, it have many 3rd party lens & some zeiss lenses that affordable to buy..here is what in my mind..

EOS RP + RF24-105mm F4 (import)- RM7500
EOS R (import) + RF24-105mm F4 (import) - RM9300
Sony A7III + Zeiss 24-70mm F4 (used) - RM8000

I totally loved the RP, don't see a problem if the EOS R6 uses the same sensor.

Yes, it was. I cannot tahan 70D + 50mm STM on viewfinder, very bad autofocus even on middle 9 focus points I used (30% focus rate).

Switched to D750 + 50 1.8G and focus was all ok, very good dynamic range (good for me which i tends to underexpose a bit to get some details), better IQ.

But, I lost the touch screen, 1/8000 and dual pixel AF, which is ok for me cuz i don't do video, but sometimes do miss the touch screen.
I see, to familiarize the focal length and versatility?

My 9 years compact flash card behaving weirdly recently, sometimes very lag when writing or reading, sometimes giving me some errors when plugged into pc.
Decided to write an email to Lexar to claim for the Life time warranty.
So they are nice enough to offer $28 in return, I need to destroy the card with video and photo evidence.
Bought this card back in 2011 at BnH New York for $150. So much memories, especially shooting sports with this card.

Finally had the time to write a review on the EOS R6.
Hope it helps to those who are still deciding to upgrade!
