yes. they will go to update software. i know what they're doing. when first you click the update software in settings, registering device pop out. that's why they insist to open the box.

Mine they only take the imei sticker inside the box. Warranty card there is nothing to write on. It just a instructions.
Then proceed to registering device by software update button.

Since S6, the button lights cannot be turns off! Or adjust the duration time.

Need to download Galaxy Button Lights in Google Play.

I usually turn off the light, why should there be light if we already know where to press.

No, you can uninstall the app after you save the settings.
But if you need to adjust or turn it back on, you need to download the app back.

manually of course. even google photos need you to enable it first before auto upload.
