i think a basic background in process engineering will help you a lot. ability to 'goreng' is needed but nebosh IGC is really strict with how you answer the questions. must 'goreng' depending on the 'action word' in each of the question. example, EXPLAIN or DESCRIBE will require you to goreng while LIST, IDENTIFY etc will need you to put it in point form.

and need to remember, this is UK level, not the usual Malaysia-style exams..

based on what i know, those who go for this exam usually wanted to work abroad. having this in malaysia slightly adds your value. nothing more..
