Well, time to judge yourself. Who's in your team that you think is surplus to requirements and you dont mind / happy if he's being ship out? Being a Gooner, i would say Almunia and Alex Song.

Almunia had his chances when Lehmann hit bad form last season and if memory serves me right, he got a 3 match consecutive run and impress in none of them, moreover he commit blunders and cost us..

On the other hand, Song aint impress me either.. He's slow, not technically good and tend to make easy mistake, he Cygan-ish.. Not a good passer of the ball too.. I would rather have Muamba who is currently on-loan at Birmingham, black lanky anchorman similar to Mr. Vieira, and i've heard good things about him.. Rumour has it (unreliable one), Song wont be there next season..

Ok rant over.. biggrin.gif Whats yours?!

im a man utd fan. so far this season i think MU should need player as a cover up if anything happen to first XI. i personally think that they need one more forward and a midfielder. if u i hav to pick a player to be left out it would b........ hmmm...... yah kieran. sometimes he is a bit cocky. even fletcher played better than him.

Permanently, I`ll go for Silvestre, and Kieran Richardson... shakehead.gif

Once in a while, I'll choose Fletcher, Park, Giggs, Saha, Ronaldo and Brown... yawn.gif

Note - The bold one is solely becoz sometimes they are selfish... sweat.gif

i would say alieidiere (duno how to spell)

he has been with us for so long. something like 7 or 8 years. still he cant break into the team with all his injuries etc.

he is not young anymore at 23 i think and even adebayor is just 21 and doing way better.

besides him i think maybe Song but im not sure since he didnt play too often, but when he does...its terrible. LOL

thats all for my team.

OMG... Diao still there ah... I thought he cabut long ago adi doh.gif

Anyway... as an arsenal fan... I can't really say who I don't want to be in my team, coz we are perpetually affected by injuries and every one is needed.

However, I agree that Song doesn't deserve his place as much as the kids-on-loan do. Muamba should be better than Song, while Larsson can do a much better job in midfield too.

Think otherwise, maybe it's because the other kids are better, that's why they are being loaned out to get more playing time, while Song trains more with the senior team to get more experience. After all, he ain't getting much games anyway.

Check Birmingham and see how many Arsenal youngsters are in their first team doh.gif

sorryt dude.. but most united fans wudnt agree with ur assessment. ji sung have been an important figure (albeit i didnt expect him to b at first). definitely better than fletcher n a good squad player. unlike kieran. he fits MU well coz he wont complain much. do wutever job he is required to without making silly mistakes. a thinking player

leng chai definitely has some x-factor..but being the first asian player to play for MU is the selling point..do you feel proud when Park play for one of the best club in the world? I do.

Do you think MC signed Sun Ji Hai bcoz of his is cute and charming..? Do you think MU will be able to top the money making list if no body tune on to watch them play or nobody would buy their jersey & souvenirs?Do you kow how great is asian market contribution to all the profits?

anyway i think Park is cuter than Lee yong Pyo and he has to improve.

Louis Saha for his injury record. I mean, it HAS to be accepted that certain players are walking injury bombs. Kewell, Owen, Vicente, Ronaldo (Madrid), Saha (manchester United) and van Nistelrooy are always going to be injured once a season.

Just because he's Asian, he's for commercial purposes? Bet we bought Saha to show we are against racism. And bet we bought Carrick because he's English. And bet we bought Rafael and Fabio to show we welcome South Americans. And bet we have Tevez to say we forgive them over the Falklands rolleyes.gif

Accept the fact they are bought because they are thought to be good enough. IF Dong doesn't make it, it is because he didn't fulfill his potential as Paletta and Liverpool.

If Ramos is injured, you would need Salgado. I'd say Marcelo despite his young age. Heinze and Drenthe ahead of him.

We've got Torres and Metzelder can play RB if needed so it's not a prob..

Previously I'll say Mikael Silvestre.
But today we run out of backup LB. Silvestre can be backup, and he can play CB also.

After Silvestre, I would say Gabriel Heinze, the traitor who mention to join our bitter rival, Liverpool.
We used to love him, but it was disappointed to bring the issue to court and saying to join Reds.

Now, he is in Real Madrid.

I think I'm happy everyone in Manchester United recently.

I think that is a bit harsh on Aurelio. He showed glimpses of what he could do right before he go that long injury. I say give him some time, hopefully he might turn out to be our 1st choice LB.

For the new season, I would say Kewell. Seems that his injuries are never ending stories but can fit to play for Aussie during WC and AC. doh.gif
I think his time is up & maybe even past his prime. Back in 03 when the news confirmed that he is coming I went mental drool.gif , I was like this is our season.
Sadly for now I doubt that he would be able to command a regular place due to our new arrivals. For me, now he is just a freaking expensive fringe player. wink.gif

Dude, Diao left some time back.

Since you're new, here's a hint: Everything Liverpool related should be posted in this thread. Same goes for any other club. If you do post anything there, expect a bunch of immatured posters to start spamming.

For Arsenal, I think its time for Lehmann and Flamini to leave..... Now a lot of people might disagree but its just my opinion....

Lehmann has been error prone the past couple of seasons and I agree with you. Almunia looks the safer of the two at the moment, and I must add, much more 'visible' after bleaching his hair smile.gif Looks like you may get Boruc.

For me, its Yakubu and Rochemback...I really hope the deal with Everton already done, coz he is a lazy, fat, b***tard and Rochemback, most of the time, I dun know what kinda football is he trying to play..Benfica wants him, so just sell him to benfica

But he's scoring quite a bit don't him? Anyway selling him will make your team a bit lightweight in attack, don't you think?

exactly.. which is why i said.
1st team players who are not up to the mark.
if it wasnt for the countless goals bagged by ronaldo and rooney last season, i see no way they were champions
