What is the transacted price for 24x75 in SL4?
*
I not too sure bro. since i did not do any survey as this is currently for my own stay and plan to continue staying there if i don have budget to upgrade myself sad.gif
But i saw some are letting go at 800ish. Negotiable la i think. asking price and transacted price are always different.

SL4 not yet 20yrs bro..more like 16yrs biggrin.gif
*
according to my record, i think some houses there completed in year 1996. So should be 20 years already now. Even in SL4 itself have few phases if not mistaken as i can see some different designs though.

I like the Classic English Tudor style semiD wonder why no such design after 1996?
*
I think that's the 1st phase completed 30 years ago and i think they couldn't sell during that time. according to my uncle who visited that area 30years ago. They are selling at around 180K if not mistaken but still consider expensive during that time? I not sure smile.gif But ya, I like the design too but some people now starting to renovate their house and do some massive facelift and those design is becoming history soon. even the shop houses in sg long also went through the same transformation. doh.gif

Based on SHL website, the first bungalow, semiD and terrace houses were completed in 1994, if so this township about 22 years old..

http://www.shlcb.com.my/bsl/bsl_bgl.html
http://www.shlcb.com.my/bsl/bsl_smd.html
http://www.shlcb.com.my/bsl/bsl_trc.html

Ya so sad, lesser and lesser English style tudor design in Sg Long together with its greenery environment sad.gif

Initially there is little demand for Sg Long houses because need to pay 2 tolls and people perceived this township very remote, anyway after year 2000s the houses getting better response and with abolition of one of the toll  in 2012+ UTAR consolidation in 2015, the houses especially near by UTAR are in demand.
*
Thanks bro for getting the fact right smile.gif Coz i just simply made the statement earlier based on the conversation i had with my uncle. So it is 22 years ago which is not too bad.

I still love Sg Long but of course, u cannot compare anymore with the time i moved in in year 2008. every morning i woke up i thought i am at genting. LOL

just out of curiosity and also sorry for jump in as different topic. I wonder why hardly see any houses in Sg long do massive facelift. e.g. convert their old houses from 2 storey to 2.5 or 3? I think when i visit my bro's house, it's quite common in kepong or the old terrace houses near desa park city.

i saw they paint with brick colour

some look nice but not all of them. i have never seen anyone convert 2 storey to 2.5 or 3 yet so far. i wonder is it due to approval issues. but one of my neighbour corner unit extended the side of his house and built a 3 storey high there.

Rm1.2mil  the semi d there ?
I Went to this place two month ago
This place is quite peaceful for stay
I got the feed back from one of my neighbour
They got one house in seri Sg long  too
He said this place is Good for living  and quite safer too
Recently they increased numbers of guards so the maintenance also increased to rm100 per month .
*
yea, that's the semi-d (40x80). I tried to use google street view but not sure if i am looking at the right place. RM100 a month is fine as long as they do their job right smile.gif

Thanks for the valuable comments bro.

SL 4 is link house ?
Semi d got extra land .
U go have a look first . As I know many of the semi d in seri Sg long not a gd choice  . I don't like the topography where the semi d been placed . Eg the side or behind of the building is facing higher retaining wall .
If u have no budget issue .
Maybe can try bkt Sg long 1 ? Or TP ?
*
i kind of agree with you on the placement on the semi d for the seri sg long seems like behind some hill or some high land (i not sure what is that).

budget can be an issue for me unfortunately sad.gif in fact quite interested with admiral park as well (SL15).
