Anyone has any recommendations where I can learn makeup for myself?
How much will it cost?

I prefer the natural Japanese/Korean looks.

Thanks!

I'll be wary of those classes then.

Im now thinking of either Bobbi brown or Shu Uemura, not sure which is better. The other brand Im aware of is MAC, but Ive seen quite a few MAC sales people/makeup artists(?) with very heavy makeup, so it does not seem like my style.

Thanks for the tip on youtube, but Im an absolute beginner who has never put on makeup before with no idea where to begin. Hopefully at least a counter demonstration can get me started first before going to youtube to improve.

There's a thread on this; https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/139010

You sound kinda young, why don't you start by at least understanding the ingredients used in those products? Eg what are the bad chemicals, what are the acceptable chemicals, what's the common name of the scientific looking names etc etc.

If you learn from those sales girls, they'll only paint a good picture of their brand only.

Basically understand what you're putting on your face. Is it gonna harm you in the long run? Because it's gonna be something you apply on your face very regularly & for long hours.

If you're looking for the techniques, probably ask a senior friend?

Thanks for the link, I'll do some research on makeup brands then.

What about Amber Chia's makeup class? Do you happen to know anything about it and if its any good?

Never paid any attention to make up classes before lol.

Got any friends around you that wanna learn as well? Group up, watch YouTube together & learn from trial & error. It might cost a bit due to wastage, but I'm sure you'll enjoy the learning process.
