The problem is airmiles value varies depending on so many factors, the program, class of travel, destination, and timing etc so difficult to put a value on it.....

Whereas using BP will effectively consistently mean 1.5-2% savings over m2p.....

Personally, unless you are a big airmiles player, many end up with marginal miles, and resort to y redemption....which values miles lowly.....so better take the exchange advantage.....
