I never tried more than 500 in a single transaction. The cashier told me max 1k. Never know that they have different limit in diff area.

just got my cc statement yesterday, i had used my VI to pay for a travel insurance under tokio marine (rm423) with posting date 16/04/16 and making a payment of electricity deposit under SESB (Sabah) (rm1000) with posting date 20/04/16, both earn 2x point. hmm... i thought it suppose to be 1x?

somehow the way the statement gave the bonus point for the above transactions are classify under overseas spending and the total point given slightly not matching. Suppose to be 423 + 1000 = 1423 point, but given 1432 point. i had recalculate many times and really sure the 1432 point given under overseas spending does not correspond to any other transactions on the statement.

If you're staying in klang valley then pay via Sam Groceria. Max  per transaction is 1k only.

I have been paying my bills there every month and earn cash back under groceries category using my HLB Wise or Ikhwan MasterCard. biggrin.gif

Yes, just go to the cashier and tell her/him that you want to pay for TNB, then read out the bill no. and she/he will punch on the screen. Minimum amount is RM 20. I also pay for my UniFi bill. Yeah, I also suggest you to sign up for the membership, RM 12 for lifetime membership and comes with RM 10 voucher.

i calculate the point and it show correctly..
Tokio Marine only 1x TP..
VI suppose to earn 2x TP on retail purchase..

oversea spend 1432 <--- this is under amex transaction.
you need to find transaction that around RM358..
maybe previous statement but only credit the points in this statement

For Unifi, u can still pay with M2U and get 5x points.

For TNB and TnG, u can visit Sam's Groceria.

herc and fruitie, thanks for sharing the option of paying utility bills at Sam's to secure the 5xTP.
Like many here, I have up to 10K in bills to pay per month (4 TNB bills). Considering the limit of just 1K at Sam's, what is the best way to go about this? I don't want the cashier to look at me as if I'm a looney blink.gif
