Last week i have applied for temporary increase of credit limit for going oversea. Today got msg application rejected. My current credit limit is rm30k and i applied for rm90k. I just used this card in february and paid my usage  in time. Is there any other way that i can increase my credit limit?

CS told me that i can overpay my CC but sometimes the system still consider credit limit of rm30k. So, she does not advise this method.

The reason they rejected my application bcoz im still a new user less than 6 month.

Seems i will just use and then pay straight away.

But no more TP.

Ah....must be new policy..... previously the supps have the same limit....but I note the new supp cards has 30k stated in the letter.....I assumed it is a mistake as I see it's still the full limit online....

Do you all call MBB to update your travel plan for overseas transactions? I'm quite confused by MBB sometimes, I will call every time but in the last two calls, the CS told me no need to call them anymore as it will be activated automatically.

Just now was my first time calling to activate for M2P, the CS updated my travel plan and didn't tell me I won't need to call anymore...

I had bad experience before, there was once many years ago I forgot to activate and spent in Japan, after third transaction, my card was blocked and MBB tried to call me which I missed and incurred high roaming cost when I called back to unblock.

From that time onward, I will call every single time before I travel. Looking at you guys must be frequent travellers, do you really call every single time?
