When you redeem, say KUL to LHR ,and book it online, how do you arrange for a 2 day stop over at Singapore? Can u use multi-city when redeeming online? talking about SQ....
*
There is an add stopover option when u search the seats, scroll all the way down. Free If u redeem RT, else $100

Or, u can call the KF singapore number

Just wanna confirm that both my Amex and MU VI treat points are combined in my account right?

Another question is that can my wife Amex (separate account) points be converted to my krisyfler account as miles?
*
Amex Reserve and MU VI treat points were kept under separate account, under your name, they can combine and redeem altogether.

If your wife Amex is under your supp card, it can only converted to principal account Krisflyer, which is you.

If it is her own account, then only to her own Krisflyer account. They cross match the account holder name.

Which card? BP? I purposely keep the quota for this weekend's match. So, it has no effect whether I reload to BP or pay straight to the merchant, still 2x. Or did I misunderstand anything else?
I already maxed out all my cash back cards, so I really have nothing else left. laugh.gif
*
given your condition, i will swipe the MUVI without hesitation if the spending is necessary.

Omg. Opened this thread and nearly fainted.

Was just sharing my personal strategy on holiday planning strategy, which many of my friends laugh at as they think it is counting pennies. Wanted to justify that every cent matters to me and I will try to save money to max card benefits where possible, which I think most of us in these forums are here for regardless of income status.

*

Hi, can someone confirm how long it takes for remaining 3x points to enter once MU won their match? Is it ~2 weeks later?
*
It's done manually so there is no fixed date. So far been receiving after 2 weeks or more, not before.

I thought you have to spend on 25th to entitle for the x3(If won), since the match is on 25th our 3am.
*
* Based on UK match day.

meaning..

You have to spend by today
You have to spend by today
You have to spend by today

very important, say 3 times

I will advance pay my cp500 to hit the 60k.....then once I get the annual double miles, it's cut....
*
as mentioned by other forummer earlier, you may not entitle the double miles if the spending is before June and your anni date is after.

I would not risk it.

On the basis that changes should always be prospective, and not retrospective, the eligibility for double miles should be valid for all spendings before 1 June.
*
This is solely my personal opinion, as last time during HLB (Fortune) excludes government transaction, it is retrospective.

If some one getting an answer from CS, please help us by getting a writen copy notworthy.gif

ok noted. thanks a lot  icon_rolleyes.gif

understanding this, KF is a better option than AM because Singapore is nearer tongue.gif

btw, what is connecting partner?

and, in order to redeem points, firstly we need to create a KF/AM account, right?
*
Partner airlines, like SQ with NZ or MH with EK, they are not in the same Alliance, but code sharing their flights etc.

Yes, u need to create the FFP account before u redeem your treatpoints to miles.

Stick to 1, u will be less headache.

AM has sweet spot to Mainland China, u can reach most CX destination within the 2750 NM distance, at 50k AM per pax in J round trip.

Great tips! I will check out AM when my trip is confirmed. By the way, will it work well for last minute's trip? Let's say 2 weeks-4 weeks ahead of schedule?

CX generously open up more award space at closer date, T-14 usually. But do not take my word as guarantee.
