Wanted to go Taipei. Might stopover at Hong Kong. Thinking to redeem Cathay or MAS

1) KUL - Hong Kong only operate by Cathay Dragon. Is Cathay Dragon good compared to Cathay Pacific? Does it have flatbed?
2) Go with MAS or Cathay Dragon?

Anyone know the Rimowa promotion?

Be among the 200 selected cardmembers to own this stylish cabin with a monthly spend of RM50,000 for 4 consecutive months.

Does this means every month need to spend 50k? Or RM50k in 4 months?

Withdraw 2 times if u really need cash out, why top up so much if u don’t need so much in big pay?
*
Every month topup hehe...

Assuming Man U didnt win.
BigPay Topup = RM10k
Treatspoints = 20k
AirMiles = 4390
Withdrawal fee = RM30 (2k limit X withdraw 5 times X RM6)

Swipe 1 year get 43k airmiles can redeem 1 business class ticket to Melbourne at the fee of RM30 X 12 = RM360 withdrawal fee.. Hehe

I hope bank will continue the cb or points but bp to stop the local atm withdrawals except overseas withdrawal. Then those who need to use bp as a medium to maximise their points or cb, then they can slowly spend their money in the bp or withdraw the cash from overseas atm whenever they travel overseas.
*
It is cheaper for Bigpay to offer withdrawal than to spend due to payment gateway fees Visa/Master around 2-3%

Oh. They can tahan very long.  brows.gif
What they will do is they will just chop off your treatpoints and make it invalid based on their own findings and discretion.
Then what you can do to them? Sue them? You got enough financial backup to go through this lengthy court case?  biggrin.gif
If too many people do these and if this action bring losses to them, they can also change the benefit anytime for the future. who know?  icon_idea.gif
This is also one kind of "abuse" but seldom people complaint unfair because not many people have "business" to use as "abuse" tool
This world got many things that you cannot imagine/think of and they are happening all the time quietly.  biggrin.gif

Guys guys stop with the Bigpay abuse thing.. It's not illegal, it's just not ethical.. hahahahaa

Hehe. I edited few minutes ago.

I'm looking through the restaurants list, wondering which one is a good choice. Wanna treat my BFF for birthday dinner in April. hmm.gif
She's not so much a fan of western food, buffet is fine and we had one in Le Meridien and it wasn't up to our expectations...

Yes, Lemon Garden is good, many friends around me like Lemon Garden.
I was contemplating between buffet or dinner set, since before this we had buffet together, so I went to the latter option. biggrin.gif

Had anyone tried using Maybank Amex Concierge or Amex Platinum Concierge? I just emailed both of them. Wanted to buy a laptop from Lenovo US as they are having 30% discount.

The laptop need to be shipped to US address then courier to me ..

Let's see if concierge can do this
